That would be freaking awesome if they came up with and or maybe already have a Google Earth option on this head device. 3D virtual reality being able to walk around locations worldwide.

Seems like a good entry point for people who are unsure about vr

I'd like to see sm more shots of the underwater and nature videos where it's like u can walk around in the desert or jungle.

Great comprehensive overview. Exactly the information I was looking for. Many of these demos expect a certain level of understanding of some of the terminology, which I understand, but it's a big thumbs up to you to make sure this information is accessible for a wide audience. (I do modular synthesizer demos) Well done!

This reminds me of the Gear VR stuff, very similar looking setup, menus etc! Great video Tom!

WAIT WHAT?!? "Ultrawings" ON THE GO?!? That's so awesome!!!

If they made it so that this could be connected to a PC with USB or Wifi (which they could have very easily done considering Rift Cat does the same thing with the Gear VR), they would have been onto a total winner. It would have still been limited in contrast with the Rift being as there is no positional tracking but at least you could have had the option to take it on the move or plug it in for extra juice when you want to do some better gaming.

Would love to see you doing "anything else you like" lol

I'm getting this for my birthday so I'm very excited!

I got this as a birthday gift and its probably the second best gift ive ever gotten. I enjoy it so much its fun to use the games are cool i just hope it continues to be supported. I also love showing it to the other people because it always starts the same "you look so dumb wearing that thing" then they try it and are in love and looking at buying one.

I don't know who created Oculus Go, but I try to figure out how we get them to have Oculus _Go to the Polls_

Lower the brightness in the settings, instantly more comfortable...I spend hours and hours in VR now without problems

What controllers would you need to play games? I've only used VR headsets that use your phone (and the PSVR at one of my friend's house), so is this worth it? Can you use it while charging?

Bigscreen is brining PC streaming to the GO!! It's getting pretty attractive. Only 30fps for now but 60fps in the future.

People think this is a high end vr headset and they say things like "get a dell visor, or ps vr" Which is actually a stupid comparison because You need a decent PC or you need a ps4 and a ps4 $250, and a PC to run will be atleast $600 for a used laptop to run it at decent settings. It's not supposed to compare to those headsets, it's a portable cheap VR headset. PORTABLE, unlike the headsets you guys keep yelling about.

I have PS VR and I love the concept of VR games and really don't want to play anything else. But now when I'm over the "honeymoon" of VR I find the limitations in graphics the most annoying. The 3D worlds look all cool when you watch it on a screen but when you are "inside the game" you really see the texture overlays looks more like cardboard models.

What does the inside look like? I purchased the gear Vr but was extremely disappointed as the lenses are really bad. Text get those blue/yellow shadowing and the sides are blurry unless you look at them.

Prexto Rex Whoa, whoa, whoa! Hold on there just a sec. It's not the Gear VR's fault. Your experience is limited by the phone you use. The Gear VR's lenses are great! In fact, there are Vive and even Vive Pro users replacing their stock lenses with lenses from the Gear VR due to them being sharper and having a bigger sweet spot.

That blue/yellow "shadowing" you were referring too is called Chromatic Abberation. "the material effect produced by the refraction of different wavelengths of electromagnetic radiation through slightly different angles, resulting in a failure to focus. It causes colored fringes in the images produced by uncorrected lenses." So you're either wearing the Gear VR too high, too low, at an angle, not focused properly or a combination of all of that.

good thing about Go is that you don't have to stand up and play games after hard day at work. Someday i just don't feel like to use Vive because im tire at work but I can use Go in my bed or couch when im tire or lazy. Watching videos on movie theater screen in vr is already worth spending and you also can play 2d pc games with Bigscreen while you are lying on the bed with gamepad controller. You can play all the 2d games in 3d using Tridef 3d too.

Bullshit! Don't spread false info. What are the specs of your rig that you ran the Rift on? All of the games I play look super sharp. Mainly cause I super sample but other than that, game's look great. If you want higher resolution, get a Vive Pro, Odessey, or a Pimax 8K. Just be sure your rig can handle it.

I turned on supersampling with my 1080 Ti and also sold mine and bought a wmr headset. The oculus and the vive was a bit 2 blurry for me and upgrading to a wmr headset with a higher resolution fixed that a tiny bit
