    @@lovenhealing I'm so sorry to hear you are struggling. Therapy along with meditation has helped me so much, I highly recommend both. Hi! Just tried this out, and while I still think theres a bit of a disconnect for me, I still appreciate that you took the time to post this video and shared this technique! Once I get more familiar with meditation and mindfulness techniques, I definitely will give this meditation another try! I do feel a bit calmer now!

    Hi I'm sorry to hear you have been suffering. Along with meditation, yoga, and working on my spiritual side, I have also done a lot of therapy. Specifically ERP therapy has been really helpful. Meditation and quieting your mind is something that takes practice so don't be hard on yourself if you are having thoughts pop up. Sometimes if this happens to me I'll say to myself "Thank you OCD for reminding me of this but I'm meditating right now and don't have time for this" Then I'll redirect my attention to either my breath or an area of my body that I'm focusing on or just try to focus on the words if it's a guided meditation. Hope this helps. Sending you love and light!

    Hi Tara, I've been dealing with intrusive thoughts this last year, perhaps out of both repressed anger and joy. Either way, I notice tension and release exercises through physical exercise, sports, wim hof breathing and yoga help me forget about traumatic hangups. Nonetheless I can't always rely on tension buildup exercises for coping. But whatever gets me to pay attention to my physical presence equanimously helps. Thanks for your creating this video and giving up to this facet of mental health. Without holding you to anything, im wondering what other therapies have helped? Thanks

    How many times do we have to do the meditation in a day?

  • @drtarasalay

    @drtarasalay

    There's no set amount that you have to do this meditation. But if you are working on adding meditation into your life, I recommend trying to meditate once a day even if just for 5 minutes. Hope this helps!
