This tournament is amazing. We’re getting Benoni, French, and hopefully more crazy positions out of less used openings at the top. Edit: The nice thing about Rapport is he makes everyone play crazy chess.

There is a game you said was the most interesting game of the tournament but this one made me smile..Rapport is the reason I continue to love chess

Wow that’s what I’d call a crazy game pieces all over the place kind of incredible MVL survived the attacks from Rapport especially with Blacks Bishop on d3 acting as an anchor I’d guess it was sort of like a comeback for MVL it seemed like Richard had the drop on him for a moment Thanks for the Game Agadmator one of the more wilder ones 😅♟️enjoy your day

This was a fun game

When you have such sharp complex positions, and you are sacking queens and trading rooks for knights and gobbling up pawns, there's no telling where you will find yourself in the endgame. Its one of those deals where the smoke clears after a dizzying round of fireworks, and you are all of a sudden down a pawn in a losing endgame. There's no way to predict that outcome, its just part of chess.

Sometimes after a game when i thought i played "brilliant" chess, the computer analysis it and says accurarcy 67% (1x great, 15xbook 3x blunders etc) and i´m like ..whaaaat? i thought i played good ^^ ps: MVL: "I got the white pieces, i think i´m gonna attack" Rapport: "No"

I don't know why but MVLs wins are always particularly enjoyable games to watch.

Also, why didn't MVL challenge that black bishop on d3 with his own bishop. Instead of moving it to d1 why didn't he move it to e2.
