I love Boz,love this song, this venue and production but its those beautiful backup singers at the end that make me misty eyed.Songbirds❤
Very nice touch by Boz to incorporate his backup singers part in the end! Just beautifully done!
Love Boz. This is his best, David Foster is a genius as well.
This tune makes me well up all the time. Boz is a legend and is proff that modern music sucks and is soulless.
In my humble opinion you chose the best version of this song. I listen to this very often.
Love Boz Scaggs music 🎵💝🎶🎶 love the back singers 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
"Look What You've Done To Me" was co-written by Boz Scaggs & David Foster for the 1980 movie "Urban Cowboy". The whole "Silk Degrees" album is great. Remember when it came out in 1976. It has a bluesy sound to it. Two of his most famous songs from that album are "Lowdown" & "Lido Shuffle". Some other songs are "It's Over", "What Can I Say", "We're All Alone", "Harbor Lights", "Jump Street" etc.

Boz's album Come On Home is a goodie. It's become my favorite Boz album. Check it out if you haven't.

Have you tried My prayer sung by Bobby Hatfield? Or Somewhere? You’ll enjoy ❤❤
This was heavy.
Showing my age but this was the first song I had the pleasure of my first slow dance. I’ve never forgotten it. Love. Look what it’s done to me over a century later. ❤ His voice says everything. 💜
I forget just how good he is! It takes me back.
Love Boz. One of his best
This live performance was 23 years after first recording the song - amazing. I saw Boz at the House Of Blues in Las Vegas a few years before this when he was putting together the touring band - he did one show in San Francisco before the Vegas show where he explained he brought along some extra musicians - they were still working out how they'd do the various songs. That show was quite long as they tried out all the songs they might do on tour. BTW, the House Of Blues venue inside Mandalay Bay is also an intimate setting where there were just 10 rows of 10 seats each(I was in row 6) on the dance floor and then tables and seats within the bar and on the surounding balconies. For another slow one that could be a couple's song is "Harbor Lights".
Need to find the original Loan Me A Dime, was recorded in Muscle Shoals AL and Duane Allman played slide guitar in it
This was such a powerful ballad in Urban Cowboy. Such a smooth, rich voice of my generation. I wonder how many times I've danced to this song.
Thanks for this! Not many people are reacting to Boz, but he is incredible!
this was at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco it's a beautiful place, I adore Boz
What a performance by all!!
Such a beautiful song. The band and back-up singers are AWESOME! Boz lets the girls put such a fantastic exclamation point to this lovely love song! This whole show is TOP SHELF!

A one of a kind song. An emotional masterpiece.
Boz is awesome - brings me back to Junior High school dances, slow dancing with cute boys.
My favorite version of this song; for me, the female vocalists put it over the top at the end. "We're All Alone" and "Harbor Lights" from this same concert continue the great slow, melodic vibe of this tune.

Harbor Lights is my favorite.
His smooth, soulful, sexy voice seeps into my soul. Love me some Boz Scaggs❤
Could be my favorite song of all time!! Beautiful!!!
I bought Boz albums back in the day. Can t tell you the beautiful nights I had with his music playing in the background.
He most definitely is a beautiful soul. No words can describe!
Oh my I forgot how much I love this song, thanks! What an unexpected surprise
This was performed at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco! I have attended concerts there before and it is an absolutely marvelous venue!
Love Boz Scaggs. Always have. He is like a fine wine, so smooth.
The slow burn and passion of this song, coupled with the romantic lyrics, make this the SEXIEST SONG EVER. Check out the studio version when you get a chance.
He is in the place where the words came from.
Those female background singers are about to steal the show!😀
I think this is my favorite romantic version of this song!❤
The Great American Music Hall is a terrific San Francisco music club. Very small and intimate, 470 seats. For more than 30 years Boz Scaggs actually owned his own club, Slim's, in a nearby part of San Francisco. Also a small, 500-seat club. I saw Boz first in 1968 on the East Coast and have loved his music since.
It’s all about Boz !!!
I love this song so much and I love the movie "Urban Cowboy". This is my FAVORITE version of this song. Their back-up singers are phenomonel!!!
So glad you got to this one. Listen to it 3 more times, then breathe.
I don't know if I said it on this channel or another, but I would re-mortgage my soul to be in audience for Boz. When I was growing up we all knew Lido Shuffle but it's only in the last ten years or so that I rediscovered him and realised he's capable of songs of such beauty that they take your breath away. I know you want to go back to something funkier but before you do please listen to 'Sierra'. There are live versions around but you need the studio version for the first time. Sad, poetic, with guitar to die for, it is I think the most beautiful song I've ever heard. The angels lay their clouds across his sky They line up for him every night Some have wings and others sing The rest do lazy ballets in the air He's touring the US this summer, but no mention of overseas. Come over to London, Boz, before it's too late! (I know, who am I to make demands of a guy in his late 70s? But I can dream of the High Sierra . . . )

I’m with you brother ! I’ve requested “Sierra” a bunch too, but not many thumbs up. Boz does “lost at love” better than anyone - I usually pair it with his other beauty, “Lost It”. I’ve never lived in the Sierras, but have toured there several times, so I get why he wrote about angels making the cloud formations.

@@thomascanfield9165 Sadly no Sierras in the UK. We've got the Lake District, I suppose. And mountains in Scotland and Wales, beautiful in their own way, before anyone says anything.
Wow! I was 18, just graduating high school and falling in love! What a great memory....
Boz is so good. Even after all of these years, this is one of those songs that might come up in my mind and get me singing.
Boz and his ballads are killer !
One of the most exquisite love songs ever, and performed to perfection! I’ve loved this man’s music since the seventies when I was in high school. I finally got to see him in concert a few years ago, and he still had “it”!
I completely forgot about this song and how great it is and I just added it to my playlists, thanks
I love this song! One of the smoothest, heartfelt, beautiful love songs ever. Did I mention I love this song? 🥰
Boz better give those girls a shout out! What an awesome surprise at the end of the song...perfect touch.

He did. They are Barbara Wilson and Monet’.
Those songs that give you goose bumps!! Love Boz!
Boz is awesome - he has a couple songs on the “Silk Degrees” album that will get you laid too - “Harbor Lights” and “We’re All Alone”.
So many that people don't appreciate the REAL talent there. Love him.
Boz is simply the best!
One of my favourite love songs. ❤️
It was the era of the slow grind
From his 2003 concert DVD. You should catch it all but Miss Sun for sure if you want to see the backup singers really shine, especially Ms. Monet! Great musicians and backup. Michael Bluenstein on piano went on to be a member of Foreigner (among many other accomplishments).
Boz Scaggs, Donald Fagen (of Steely Dan) and Michael McDonald (of the Doobie Bros) did a tour together recently that they called The Dukes of September. Well worth a watch and a listen. They do hits from all three bands.
Go see him in concert. I can’t say it enough, if you can find a way to see him, do it. Don’t think twice, you may never get this chance again. If you have a concert bucket list, he should be at the top. Go see him!
"Lido Shuffle" must be next. Both the studio version and the live from this show are killer.
This is going on my “lazing on the beach reading a book” playlist. Such a chilled vibe to this. Absolutely love it
There's a concert on KZread where Boz joins Steely Dan with special guest Michael McDonald it runs about 2 hours but it's well worth it.
This takes me back. Love Boz!
❤One of my favorite songs from Urban Cowboy movie, starting John Travolta and Debra Winger….a movie worth watching. All the music from the movie soundtrack is great. Thanks, I sure did enjoy! ☺️
No words to describe your reaction. Perfect.
Could you PLEASE do We're All Alone next? One of my top favourite ballads.
I love this song so much ❤
Ive been WAITING for you to listen to this. JoJo is a great song also!😊
Oh wow! It has been a long time since I have heard this. Thank you for reminding me how moving this song is. Jumping on over to Spotify to add it to my favorites. ❤
This was at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco - an older, pretty cool venue.
I'm glad you chose this song. Such a great and underappreciated romantic love song. I always thought it had just a little feeling of mystery to it too. Love Boz Scaggs!
Now that is music! Musicians writing great music and lyrics and being able to play it to a tee live. Unlike what passes for music today, sampling, drum tracks, autotune, etc. just can't come any where close to the sound, emotion and feeling of this song.
More songs from Boz like this: Slow Dancer, Harbour Lights, We're All Alone in any order. They're all gorgeous. His vocals are amazing in all three of those. Another of his uptempo: Jump Street, Georgia. Can't go wrong really. Like others have said, Silk Degrees album is great start to finish. All songs I've mentioned save for Slow Dancer are from it. I think Lowdown and Slow Dancer are my personal favorites of his, though it's hard to narrow down to just two.
We're All Alone is another great Boz song in the same vein as this one.
My first concert when this album came out. Great, great show.✌️❤️
This performance just blew me away! 🤯
Just incredible live magical music!
I’m so glad you appreciate Boz as much as I do. I can listen to him all day long and then some.
That was outstanding the whole band!!
I'm a late 70's teen Silk Degrees was our blues/love songs. Always loved his tone. I also loved him even more when he stopped recording and touring so he could be with his children.
Another beautiful Boz ballad is “We’re All Alone” from the Silk Degrees album.
This is my favorite of his, though there are many I like, and his "Silk Degrees" was one of the must-have albums of my youth.
Fabulous rendition! Now that you've tapped into this concert, you really should react to "Breakdown Dead Ahead" from the same show... killer performance and a good rocker that will balance out well and show you a grittier side of his music.
Miss Sun is a great one too!❤
This entire concert is amazing. It's from 2004 was at the Great American Music Hall. Watch the version from this concert of Jojo and Breakdown Dead Ahead!
"Silk Degrees" Still one of my favourite albums👏
I'm a hair from subscribing! This was one of my most favorites by Boz. If you react to "We're All Alone" or "Lowdown" I will be a subscriber!
Check out from this same concert, Loan Me A Dime. Great blues.
Iv loved Boz scaggs from as far back as I can remember, his in same shonra as Chris Rea and George Benson ..Seductive ,romantic, smooth .Just beautiful.
Always a pleasure to listen to Boz Scaggs. He was outstanding right from his early days and probably had 4 or 5 successful albums before this one.. He went to England (Europe) for a while and was a big hit their as well. This album is one of his greats, but he has done some really good ones of late as well. How about his early works "Moments" and his "Slow Dancer" albums. You should seek out a cut of Boz Scaggs with Booker T & the MG's Featuring Steve Cropper & Boz Scaggs doing a song called "As the Years go Passing by" you will add it to your favorites as well.
He opened for Stevie Nicks when I saw her the only problem was he didn’t play long enough. Stevie was incredible of course.
Love all the Boz.
This is one my favorite songs but I think its not one best versions of the song but it gets blocked alot. The orignal version video . Listen to just lyrics version sound is so much better. yes check out other version. Still amazing this version though. This looks like when he got older in career. David foster one the best all time writers and pianist did so many great songs with musicians and this is a classic.Boz is amazing.I remember this in great movie with John travoltia urban cowboy.Ive slow danced with my ex to this song so many times.
Gonna be here in Dallas in two days. Can't wait. Seen him back in the 70's at a local Dallas club.
You should check out the Dukes of September Concert Live at Lincoln Center (2012 or 2014? I'm not sure which date is correct). It's Michael McDonald, Donald Fagen from Steely Dan, and Boz Scaggs. Boz does some amazing cover songs and some of his own hits. My favorite is Miss Sun from that show.
My absolute favourite song of all time. I have this album and I mean vinyl
Love Him to❤
Boz Scaggs Sings The Memories. It's all in his Face!
This is the best version. I think it’s performed in Austin Lights areana
My girlfriend at the time turned me on to Boz Scaggs via the album Silk Degrees in Dec. '75. Absolutely must hit LIDO SHUFFLE, LOWDOWN, and HARBOR LIGHTS. Also, BREAKDOWN DEAD AHEAD is a must from Boz as a music video (the old official music video). Steve Miller taught him how to play some guitar licks when he was in Steve's band in Jr. High. Les Paul was Steve Miller's Godfather and would let him pick out a new model for his birthday every year from the factory showroom (but that's another story).
Bozz with his unique marbles-in-his-mouth twang
So talented!
One of my very favorite songs. It’s from the best years of my life
I love Boz Scaggs. I want to suggest another underrated song, "Miss Sun"
I'm now 50...divorced 10 years and right back in love with my ex husband. Love is really unending.
I'm so glad you've come aboard the Boz Train. He's really special. If you'd like more like this, try the incredible Slow Dancer or Harbor Lights. For more of a Motown sound, try What Can I Say or You Make It Hard to Say No. And for something funky: Angel Baby or Hercules. Or some blues/ragtime/soul try Jump Street. There's so many more to recommend, but those can continue you to the next station.

@@gregoryvanderpas4176 Thanks, so many great sons to choose, but I love Hercules. The Slow Dancer album gets overlooked, but I play it all the time.
Back in the days when true romance existed and was common. Now, I can't find it anywhere. 😔
