One of the most beautiful love songs ever, perfectly executed. So subtle vocalisation by Boz, just caressing the lyrics. All the musicians clearly feeling the groove and then topped off by truly heavenly voices from the girls. Perfect.

I met my wife when she was 18 - I was stunned, and said to myself - I'm gonna marry you one day, and I did. After 31 years of joy and passion, she passed, aged 49 from cancer - and that was 8 years ago. I hurt every day - without a lie. I know that some can move on and have another partner, and that's fantastic. I feel for those that have lost children - that's not meant to happen. But I find some comfort in having a few quiet beers, and listening to awesome music like this. Ka Kite All.

We started out poor, me 21 her 20, we have done very well together. We both have had our bout with cancer, she is still fighting her lymphoma and always will at this point. This song could have been written for us. It is our favorite Boz song. Look what you've done to me........

Silk Degrees was (and is) as good as it gets.

From the movie, Urban Cowboy produced and written in just one night for a specific scene. David Foster and Boz Skaggs came up with a real gem in such a short notice that became one of my all time favorite romantic songs. Urban Cowboy is still very relevant in today's relationships and is a must see classic movie. This song has emotional substance and impact that is difficult to match.

Mr. Skaggs has one of those unique voices that only comes around once in a generation!

I think the most beautiful written, sung, performed and produced - ever.

This is better than when it was originally recorded in my opinion.

Lost my husband of 52 Yrs in July my heart is broken but. I realize how blessed I was.to have had him that long I listen to this song when ever Im feeling sad! He was & will always be The Love Of My Life! The one thing that gives me comfort is that he is in Heaven & I will see him again😢❤❤❤

Great music never gets old.....keep listening!!!

The man with the silky voice. Have been a big fan since the silk degrees album. Got to see him in concert one time and he was great. His music is so timeless. Thanks for the beautiful music and great memories 👍👍😊

Me to this always reminds me of the one that got away....

This song was my wedding dance song with my then wife.Aug 2005 .this song had so much meaning to me but she had to leave.broke my heart still to this day when I hear this song I still get choked up....

His voice has beautiful resonance and his high notes, forget about it, wow.

This song is timeless and so under rated. I love Boz Scaggs's music when I first heard it and still do.

Love--Love--Love this, so tenderly and exquisitely sung. And Barbara and Monet bring absolute perfection at the end. It's the most romantic song in the world!

Holy moly when she hits that high note I get goosebumps every time. Mariah aint got nothing on her. She is GOLD.

I remember the first time I heard this song.....I couldn't get enough of it.

I met her when I was 14 and I loved Anne all through high school. After graduation she left me for another. She even invited me to her wedding, knowing that I could not go. But I did go, and sat in my car crying in the distance where I saw the most beautiful golden angel in white walk down the steps of the church, and walk out of my life forever. Years and decades passed and one day, many years later, she did come back to me to tell me she was getting a divorce, and how sorry she was about us. But she had changed and so had I and we were different people. The world had changed and nothing was the same as before and we knew we could not go back. They found her at home, alone, dead of an overdose. As I place flowers on your grave today Anne I hope somehow you know how much I loved you. RIP.

Well James, I now have tears in my eyes, this is very emotional heartbreaking story. But at least you still loved and cared for Anne enough, to put flowers on her grave, in remembrance and honour, for both you and Anne's love.

one of the coolest, smoothest & (definitely) under-rated performers of the 70s & 80s. the man still has it today. i'm lucky to have seen him twice. LEGENDARY in my book.
