I remember when i was a kid, some 50 years ago, you could simply boil an egg and peel it perfectly with no problems. I wonder what has happened with egg production methods that folks are having to make videos about something that was never an issue in the good old days. Anyway, thanks for your video. Oh, what if i need to boil a dozen eggs and not process one at a time?

Why do you think the eggs changed? What about, for example, the water? Are you living in the same place and getting the same sourced eggs? I do not remember any difference...sometimes easy, sometimes hard.

We’re so attached to our idea of expiration dates these days that we probably cook eggs up that are too fresh (not to mention too cold) to break down properly like a normal, unrushed, older egg. I believe older eggs peel easier anyway. But awesome question to ponder! My Mom just bought some chickens, and now I’m gonna have to experiment with peelability! 🤓

Thank you a Decillion times. You have made me very very very happy with this video. I really do appreciate it. I will just add that I hit the ___bottom___ of the egg in a small plate so you can practice if you break any (I broke small holes in just 2 out of 24 of them). It does not matter if the water is hot or cold when you put the eggs in it. Also I used a small container with Faust water and shock it few times to any direction you like. I did boil the 12 eggs for UNTILL THE WATER started boiling then I took them off and left in __same__ hot water for 10 minutes after that take them out to a container with water ___1/2___ way not covering the entire eggs so the eggs can move and have space to hit the side of the container. I assure your the reader that it does work 100% or do not give me a good thought. Of course give the egg a tiny help to peel them in no time. Now I make my boiled eggs 12 of them at a time not even in a cooking pot but in a coffee kettle just the exact steps you saw in the video. Thank you for this video.

I started buying organic pastured raised eggs. Those were the hardest to peel. It was frustrating. I found a video that showed put eggs in after the water is boiling. I put two eggs in a big spoon and lowered them into the boiling water. I first tried without the spoon and just dropped them in the water and they cracked. It was the easiest peel i have ever had. I have been doing it for a while now and it has never failed me. I do it now with any egg that I am boiling.

Been using the Russian technique; where you crack and peel the large end and tap teh small end to pinch a hole in the top then blow air into the egg to remove the top half of the shell. It works pretty good once you get the hang of it but you can en up with bits of shell in your mouth. So gonna try this No-Peel method Sunday.

Fix. Add some salt and vinegar to boiling water. Carefully lower the eggs into boiling water and boil for 12 to 14 minutes depending size of egg. After boiling place into ice water and leave there until cold. To peel, crack both ends of egg first and then roll on bench to crack shell. Fresh eggs will peel without sticking. Trust me, this works. The salt and vinegar are there to congeal the egg just it case the shell breaks. I buy eggs straight from egg farm and sticking shells have been a real problem until I learnt this technique.

I tested your theory because I thought the opposite was true. I had a few eggs left that I purchased 2 weeks ago and some I bought today. Hard boiled 2 of each batch. Immediately went to ice bath and I can confirm. They both SUCK to peel. I did also forget to precrack my eggs to use this peeling method and this doesn't work if you don't do that.... but I'm thinking precracking the eggs is just what makes them easier to peel.

Hi what's a board pin and do u think the eggs would've just as easily peeled by hand after the refrigerator? Just wondering if I can skip the shake method in the sealed container

Oh yes bulletin board that's great everyone has that we could even get more exact and cut the length of that pin so it doesn't go through the membrane and the handle section makes it easy 😂😂
