It’s crazy how this is my most-anticipated game right now. I always wanted a more fleshed out version of Wii Sports and this looks to be it. Hopefully we get some of the resort sports added later on..

It doesn't feel more fleshed out to me They could add more games, but it doesn't take place on a newly upscaled version of wuhu island which means a fly-over mode like in the wii + wii u originals would be boring Don't get me wrong, the game could sell well and I'll probably buy it to try it out, but it would be so cool to get to fly over an upscaled wuhu island on the switch

This is crazy because I literally today just bought a Nintendo Wii mainly for Wii sports, light gun games, Mario, resident evil. Crazy I think the universe is telling me something. I love wii sports and finally got it back, now I’ll have to get switch sports. I love the tennis and boxing, bowling, baseball it was so much fun back in the day …

I tried this with my family during the Online Playtest last month, and honestly, it's the most fun we've had in games in forever! It might not have the same nostalgic charm as Wii Sports, but it's just as much fun, I swear 😇

Man I wish they’d add cycling. That would actually make me buy the full switch instead of my current switch lite. That really got my heart pumping as a kid.

When it comes to in game customization, I go crazy for it! So far, from what I’ve seen if that in this game, I’m super hyped!!

I hope they keep adding sports. Always had a blast with boxing.

I’m excited but there’s a couple things missing from what I could see: 1. The Miis look a lot less customisable in the facial features. (Edit: 4:18, it just doesn’t look right) 2. I think they should 100% add the 100 pin bowling challenge as a side mode as well. Besides that, it looks great.

I mostly want this due to the customization. I would love to see some Nintendo themed outfits in the game, maybe as prizes for online events. It would be cool to wear Splatoon outfits, or dress up as Mario characters for example.

so many good memories of playing wii sports & wii sports resort in my living room as a kid 💗 excited to relive those memories!!

Even though you can still use “miis” I don’t think this will ever capture the same magic the original wii sports or wii sports resort did.

I pre-ordered before realizing that I could get a Nintendo Switch Sports water bottle if I pre-ordering a physical copy from Nintendo or Walmart or something. Also Target will give you a bag with the physical version (while supplies last) for $50. Now I'm sad that I don't even have the leg strap, but at least it was cheaper.

@@ligmadragonballs6998 I only grew up with Wii Sports (not Resorts nor Club), so the only games I used to play were Bowling, Tennis, Boxing and Golf. I didn't really explore all of the bonus content as a kid, but I had a blast with family and friends and made some of the fondest memories with the game. To me, this game offers the same experience as I remember, the awesome Wii Tennis experience, and then a bunch of extra games. And it only costs $40, which is fair to me bc I thought it would be priced at $60. Wii Sports isn't comparable since it was bundled with every Wii package. Wii Sports Resort cost $50 with MotionPlus included, and Wii Sports Club cost $50 for all the 5 sports games (you had to buy each one individually for $10).

Would be cool if you could view any online match (if allowed/toggled by the host) as a spectator in the background. The atmosphere in these games looks so cool and relaxing. Would be nice to be able to move around and watch matches anywhere within each location in game and maybe be able to chat/use expressions with people while you all spectate.

This game looks fantastic! It originally seemed like a barebones sequel to the wii games, but it's shaping up to be a really fun experience. Character customization, tons of modes, great music and visuals, online, and free updates? I'm happy. Hopefully more sports will be added beyond golf. I'd love to see baseball and boxing make a return.

Wii Sports and Sports Resort are better. I don't think there'll be much nostalgia for this game unless they had about 3x as much content. As it stands everyone will forget about this within the month.

ive been waiting for this since the minute the switch came out. this was my favorite game wheni was little, and ohhh man did we play it alot me and my siblings.

I'm so hyped for switch sports. The online is going to be insanely fun, can't wait!

If I remember correctly from the original trailer, besides golf, there were two main sports areas that were not mentioned one of them clearly being baseball and the other might have been boxing so we might get to see boxing as free dlc down the line. I also hope that we get resort dlc and hopefully they add a lot more sports because the amount of sports(and mini games for those sports) in the base game is kinda underwhelming.

I will definitely buy this NS Sports game. All the listed game are my favourite esp Bowling, Tennis, Badminton, Beach volleyball, Soccer and Golf.

Looking at it again, the mii icons in the character select do look a bit off, however I think they’ve slightly improved the proportions for the mii specific characters!

The games do look pretty nice. I'm especially excited for Chambara tho. Those twin swords look dope and I regret not playing with them in the demo. I just hope Nintendo gives us some sort of classic mode option where we can play against Miis such as Ryan, Elisa, and the legendary Matt all in their original Mii forms.

Would be cool to see more sports getting in the game via updates. Would love to see Waterpolo, Surfing, Kayaking as water based sports, Ice Hockey, Skiïng and snowboarding as winter sports. But also skating, skateboarding, basketball, baseball as more summer based sports. I could see a very special potential for other uses for the leg strap, like keeping in balance in surfing and snowboarding, making a triangle shape to break in skiïng and do some tricks like flips in skateboarding.

Volleyball looks like it will be a lot of fun to play with my family

Love the look and feel of this. really excited, but also really hoping there will be future updates with more sports. I would probably take em as dlc as well, but only if it was a really big pack of em.

Wii Sports was literaly my childhood, and hearing that it's going to turn back makes me happy!! 🤧

I feel much more happier now that I know I can play as my mii but I’m also very happy about the new music, it seems so nostalgic even though it isn’t.

Still playing Wii sports to this day :D now I can finally play this game in HD yay

I played the play test with my siblings and it was hilarious 😭 can't wait to play the full game!

AWESOME!!! ive already preordered this game like the second it was released to the public for preorder! i litterally have a calendar counting down on how many days left until it releases! I LOVED Wii Sports as a kid, so this will hopefully be EVEN BETTER!

Excited as I will be getting a digital copy for this soon. Can't wait for Golf too, one of my favorites 😇

the online play test was so much fun to play, so i’m SUPER excited for the full game to release! i tried to make it to all the play sessions in the play test, even ended up playing it while squished up in the back seat of a car because i couldn’t make it home in time and didn’t want to miss the play session, i’m absolutely hyped for the release and to be able to play all the other sports too!

I’m just getting this for the tennis lmaooo! That’s all I played on the wii with my cousins back when I was a kid. Ah memories…

At first I thought this was gonna be trash but it's actually really fun, it has lots of customization and replayability.

Already got it preordered. Looking forward to this and playing with Miis!

I'm excited for this. I played the online play test in February and it was still really fun. I'll for sure pick this up on launch.

Better late than never! I'm super excited to play this with the family, especially since we live in different cities now. I bought my mother a Switch late last year and I've already told her about the game, and she's super excited to play badminton and bowling. Super excited for this along with Mario Strikers when that hits.

When I first saw this opening in the direct live, I was freaking out, then I saw these characters, you have no idea how mad I was. But it’s fine I guess you can still use miis but the body isn’t the same. Whatever, this looks really good and I can tell people worked really hard. I’m copping a physical version with the strap next week as of writing this.

4:27 the statement everyone was looking to hear, now my only other nitpick is just that most of the games seem pretty similar, like i wish there was a larger variety, but seeing as more sports will be coming out as updates, starting with the golf one, i’m perfectly fine with it

@@seroujghazarian6343 yeah but a lot of people had been complaining about those and wanting miis so i guess they didnt notice it then(literally me, except i didnt complain about the new characters, i just didnt know miis were confirmed)

The closest I ever got to playing wii sports was watching my cousin play it, so I don’t really have any of the nostalgia for this, but I think it looks pretty good. Edit: I got the game and me and my whole family love it! So much fun.

The way you can make the opponent fall over in badminton reminds me about how you could make the guy stumble in ping pong in wii sports resort
