I was hoping this would be a remake of The Smurf's Nightmare. But this looks interesting.

Interesting. Haven't played that one yet but I've heard nothing but good things. It's been in my backlog for a while now. I'm not even particularly a fan of the Smurfs but I may have to keep an eye on this one, especially since I love 3d platformers like life itself.

@@CheckmateStallioN It is possible for two different but similar games to both be good. And yes, some games are inspired by other, more well known games, that doesn't invalidate them. And expecting anything to live up to a masterpiece is usually just going to end in disappointment.

@@CheckmateStallioN Its similarities to Tropical Freeze and Returns was precisely what drew me to that game in the first place, seeing as there hasn't been a new DKC installment in years. To me, Marsupilami: Hoobadventure was the next best thing.

Oh, I hadn't seen! Thanks for pointing that out! That makes me a lot more excited for it. I did love Marsupilami Hoobadventure. I did not enjoy it as much as Rayman Legends, but I enjoyed it more than DKC Returns (I have not played Tropical Freeze yet).
I hope they can let us pre- order Smurfs dreams on Nintendo switch soon, I really so excited to see it!❤😊

in 2025 :) i think it was on February 14th! look up at the wiki! voice actors are also revealed! the title of the movie being: "Smurfs rise of the purple smurfs" also known as "the smurfs musical"

Vileaf, Stone, Kart and now This one. My fourth Smurfs game on Switch. Day one purchase.❤. This one looks like an awesome 3D world inspired platformer. On Wii U we got the new Super Mario inspired one and then two Sunshine inspired ones. Keep it coming, and also Marsupilami 2.

I still haven't played it, but I'm really looking forward to it! I have played The Smurfs for Game Boy, les Schtroumpfs autour du monde on Game Boy, as a kid I played The Smurfs on DOS (but I couldn't even beat the first level if I recall correctly) and last weekend I got The Smurfs 2: Prisoner of the Green Stone on Switch for my birthday.

I believe that Microids buying the Smurfs to turn them into a video game series since the original franchise is never seen again because of the three movies that have negative reviews from critics. But i love the three Smurf films, it's nostalgic and rememberance. Including the upcoming movie and Tv series.
