The draft feels underwhelming. If Pearsall and Cowing click as Kyle tweaks the offense, then it's a success but compared to other teams like the Rams, Cardinals, Lions and Eagles on paper, it comes up short. I wonder how picking Bo Limmer instead of the guy from USC would have changed peoples perceptions. I think Persall will be fine. I've watched enough tape and the dude is flat slippery. He can make cuts and fakes as he accelerates and gets the DB moving in the wrong direction. He has very flexible hips which allows him to do this. He's going to be a problem for DBs. Cowing and Guerrendo are the keys. If they can produce, even a little in 2024, It'll go down much better. I like the UDFA's a lot. You two will have plenty to talk about in the months ahead.

I hear ya. We DEFINITELY need Foerster to be correct with his OL evals. I think we got a legit one in Puni. I haven’t done the eval on Kingston yet. Burford is simply not good enough. And Banks, Niners fans tend to way overrate. He’s been ok-ish But he’s got another level in him and we damn sure better get it out of him in a contract year. Either way I don’t think he’s a second contract guy. Not for what his agent is gonna want. The plan at tackle is to hope, pray and beg for Trent to play 2-3 more years. That’s the only plan they have there. Because if Jaylon Moore is your plan then you don’t understand the question. Moore can get you out of a game but he’s not a serious starting option.

@@wyndonzzac3656 certainly that’s true of their tackles, especially when Vinovich is in charge. Which is why I pleaded with Larry to make it a HUGE emphasis in the lead up to the Super Bowl. If the drum beat had gotten loud enough there might have been a national conversation about the situation and it might have put requisite pressure on Vinovich to call a square game. Larry wouldn’t touch it though.

I will say what Larry should have said to rebuild and acquire assets . Trade Curry you would get 5 first rd picks minimal and speed the rebuild instead of just living in the past with sentiment the last 2 years of Curry's contract. I do not want to gut the team for Lebron.
