Purdy thinks faster than the other qbs. He's far from perfect. He's a truly great processor, yet he misses wide open targets, and throws into tight risky windows when its unnecessary. He hasn't perfected his runs. He's going to get the highest to date QB deal if his stats, are similar next season, to his last. Purtty, simple. Only dramatic injury, or unseen situation could prevent the momentum.

2/3 's of the league would pay Purdy the top rate!!!! He ought to holdout, now!!

They literally can't pay him this year, the CBA is legally binding for all players and teams until a new one is agreed to. Holding out would do literally nothing.

PURDY blows Herbert away just by the stats,then you add in the it factor, not close,and after this year,PURDY will be a way better scrambler ,not just better,way better, you'll see, he's working on it in the off season , you'll see, Week 15 PURDY WAS #1 FOR. MVP ON MGM BET. +150, DAK +300. LAMAR +350, I NEVER HEARD OF HERBERT IN THAT CONVERSATION,AND HE CANT RUN, gets sacked a lot,and. Fumbles, very good QB, BUT NOT TOP 5, TOP 10, NOW HE'S GOT A COACH,SO hopefully move up,and. Drafted a top receiver!! !!!

You’re right with everything except the second place QB comment, which is easily one of the dumbest I’ve read in my life and can’t figure out how you can be smart but then say something that buffoonish. Which QB threw the interception? Which QB had the better line who also seem to be given more rope to make their QB look better as he has more time to scramble and wait for something to open up. Our defensive line was limited bc of this too, as Purdy was playing under duress the entire game and still he had no picks. On top of this, the entire world knows how it goes and the 49ers said it and then, I guess expected it to just not happen bc they called it out prior as if that hasn’t been done by teams and players and fans before every Chefs game and video and pics after games and still nothing changes. Brilliant game planning by all these teams and players who continue to do nothing about it. No ideas of what to do, of how to make them work harder for it, in the meantime it continues to happen and unless they’re idiots I assume the Chefs are working on it bc I would, they’re really good at it too. If I was on a team that felt this was happening to me, after a backup teammate of mine made Mahomes a crash test dummy (and possibly was disqualified for the remainder of the game) I’d say sorry and stop holding. Bc they can win the game but they weren’t going to feel like they did physically.. but naww, just keep getting taken and punked, and keep getting injured during the Super Bowl, and keep being the guys to steal from, and ppl can pretend it was bc Purdy was a second place QB. That if Herbert was the QB, all that stuff would’ve been different when at very best when the line collapsed and didn’t employ anything the Chefs do, Herbert would’ve thrown it away closer to the receivers who weren’t open and even if it was a touchdown from Herbert or Purdy, the game just would’ve been extended longer. If Fred Warner turned around covering Kelce towards the end, Mahomes would’ve had his second interception and the 49ers would’ve won but he didn’t so the football landed on the ground by him. But where Purdy is on the QB tier had nothing to do with why they lost. It was a team effort to lose, not taking advantage of opportunities, not having the ball last, not being prepared for the trenches which is why Tampa did beat the Chefs and why many Chefs fans were complaining about the calls afterwards. Funny how that seems to go. A missed field goal hurt too unless I remember wrong. I would be fine however with taking Purdy over Herbert and that dude is correct about Purdy, his scrambling is going to improve him even more and he definitely needs to be locked up for the future. I don’t understand the idea it has to be some certain amount bc of Goff or anybody else bc that’s just stupid, and can go into helping the team. Purdy won’t be worse simply bc he makes less than somebody, in fact he can only be better by costing less. Idk what will eventually happen but I hope Purdy, the 49ers and the team are all being smart and keeping the team and the future in mind regarding every contract. Sorry I was an a-hole about the second place comment, but you clearly having a brain and being rational is partly why i said it was so dumb. I recently watched a Drew Bledsoe doc and it had all the Brady stuff and I think about if the Chargers had Herbert and he got hurt and they had some kid named Purdy who came in and took them to the conference championship or Super Bowl. Would they keep Herbert? Especially if he didn’t start and Purdy had the start he had this year.. Bledsoe was the better QB, had the experience, the teams loyalty or most of it. Bledsoe had the far superior arm, the QB physique, Bledsoe is the prototype, but he wasn’t Tom Brady. Brady was an insanely confident, strong willed, hard working, football player who happened to play QB and he was able to remain cool in big moments, processed fast, etc.. not saying Purdy is Brady, but they have some similarities and were good for similar reasons and would have to be if they were to have success in the NFL, bc they weren’t as good as Bledsoe or Herbert..
