Undoubtedly, nobody can hate this car, though there are a couple of misses as pointed out by Cyrus. Hope the competition will force all the auto manufacturers to produce the best ones. Whenever one reviews about safety feature, can he mention about seat belt, rear seat passengers hardly wear seat belts.

Honestly the engine is under powered. As the competition is having cars with 120 & 150 PS.

Maruti should seriously bring back the 1.5 ddis engine... It can absolutely smoke Hyundai/Kia's CRDI Engines without a doubt...

Maruti Suzuki could have considered 1.4 turbo paired with torque converter for AWD model.

Not sure why but all reviewers are skipping the underpowered character of the car. How come mere 103 bhp is enough for such a huge car even the torque is less. It surely gonna feel sluggish when loaded fully. But for some reason every one is ok with 103 bhp

@@RAJ-km8gw I drove and this is too slow by today's means. 1.5 one you will feel tired after 50 60 kms. EV one you have to be under 80 kmph to get 27.97 mileage. Really this car is too slow. I choose skoda 1.5 .. just drive two cars back to back you won't see that 27 kmpl after driving 1.5 or even creta 1.4

Availability of every type of Engine and transmission options by the Korean Siblings (24 variants when i got my Seltos) .. This is the biggest reason why Creta Seltos will still sell like 🔥 🎂Also Maruti with its 5 Speed for the manual ones.. I mean cmon 😢..but I'm sure Koreans will be BIT sweating now. This segment is now Blood-Brawl and I'm loving it (though not loving the removal of Diesel from many manufactures)

I drove this car with 6 people in it excluding me (2 in the boot).. it pulled effortlessly, it was smooth, silent and very easy to drive for such a large car..it takes the bumps and hilly roads with ease... Sure its under powered, unless you are racing, you would not feel it. A perfect family car either in the city or for get aways!

They should have given the 1.4 litre Booster Jet as an option at least, heck the 1.8 NA from Corolla . .. would have been a complete car

Really appreciate the emphasis on the safety! I tell my old folks and others that the chime for the seat-belt is coming cause they haven't buckled up theirs, in my car. Hey, I tell them to buckle up if they're feeling sleepy as they don't get tossed around too! Trick them/con them, but keep yourself and your people safe. That aside, brilliant presentation! And thank you for swaying my interest in this mature riding vehicle. Might be what we get after all!

How is the suspension set up differently on this as compared to the Hyryder?

Sir. Please advise, which strong hybrid to go for : Toyota Hyryder or Maruti Grand Vitara?

How good it will be in off road (AWD) as compared to Duster AWD?

Wish it had a 6th gear in manual, would have gotten the allgrip model and remapped it

If this car is equipped with old scross' 1.6 diesel engine. Without considering its economy I would blindly go the showroom next day of its launch for booking. Becoz It leaves dust of over priced tincans with hyped fancy features

How many AWD models or only one the Alpha AWD

@@Dolphins_are_our_Overlords Go for the Scorpio N 4*4, Honestly speaking Maruti Cars rust to dust by the time they get 15 year old. Also Scorpio N is a Ladder on Frame vehicle, won't ride as good as a monocoque but definitely rugged and has greater service life. Not only this, you would get the advantage of Scorpio badge, don't wish to be rude but people don't associate maruti name with prestige these days (if at all that matters to you) .

New S cross would have been a better name, the Grand Vitara was a legend and came with a V6 Petrol motor, way ahead of its time .In terms of performance this car is nowhere ...times have changed and so have requirements ( fuel efficiency and features top priority for todays car buyer- 360 degrees camera and wireless mobile charger more important than engine performance and safety). What's the use of a chassis which doesn't have a potent engine, this car should have got at least 150 bhp turbo petrol with hybrid tech . Creta will still rule this segment only because of its 1.5L diesel .Finally , Although not crash tested By G-NCAP its unlikely it will exceed 3 star safety for the 6 Airbag version....

I think you are right. This is best car Maruti has brought to India. Or may be second after Kizashi/Old grand Vitarra.

Won't get a diesel again. Made a mistake with the Innova diesel. It has so much DPF issues that it's become a headache for us. So, better to go with a petrol or a hybrid.

Would you be equally excited & interested in the sister vehicle, Toyota Hyryder? I'm curious to know.

GV or Hyryder? In terms of looks

Powerdrift reviews have lost its uniqueness. It looks & feel the same as any other in this game atm. I don't know if its a good or a bad thing. But there's nothing left to inbihit 'excitement' when you come across a PD review thumbnail.

At least a 120 bhp diesel would have done wonders to this already promising car. Still, MS have come up with a great looking car in the new Grand Vitara.

Toyota is providing 8 years warranty on their hybrid battery in Hyrider..What about Maruti???

This is a strong product from MSIL. Good for an upgrade. If Hyrider pricing out this looks tempting.

If the Vitara has to dethrone the Creta it must & should come out with an Diesel engine rivalling that of the Creta.

This 1.5 litre engine to vitara is like 1litre engine to triber. I have used triber and therefore I know how vitara is going to be....

Odd. Is it just me or was this review like. . spoke so much but said so little? Like. I'm still not sure why this would be better than a top end XL6.

The video is good as always. Grand Vitara as I remember was a rugged and luxury gypsy for me. They had all the time to make this a 4/4 luxury car but no they had to go the same design as brezza. But the features r ok. Here if I had to choose I would rather go for the toyota hyrder instead of this vehicle.

Manual with AWD and just smart hybrid, not really good variants Grand Vitara provided

No auto with awd wtf why. So the wait still continues for the budget awd auto transmission family car

Again a car review without showing Boot space nor mentioned price,nor mentioned ground clearance 🤔

Sunroof screen is like transparent chaadar.

It's not wider or taller than the creta

as good as the car is, it's 105 BHP engine is a let down. not everyone can afford a strong hybrid and the increased fuel economy is well offset by the extra you pay (getting extra 6-7 kmpl by paying 3-4 lakhs more makes little sense unless you drive your car for 1-1.5 L kms). the best selling variants of creta are with the 115 BHP engine which is a good mix of power and comfort. Suzuki should have worked a bit on the engine - it is surely capable of more power and torque. good car but has one major drawback. forgive me for virtue signalling here, but only stupids for whom car is about show and not engine can buy the 105 BHP variant and not feel bad about it. Compromises galore!
