People are complaining about the engine that they need more power and speed but if Suzuki increase that then it will simply mean that your fuel consumption won't be as good as it is now. Think about it. One of Suzuki's missions is to save people money. Any one can build a fast and powerful engine but that is not what Suzuki is all about.

This vehicle is underrated the Toyota Cross does not come even close!

A pity they ditched the Turbo Booster Jets for the painful 1.5L K15B and K15C engines. I understand we dont need massive speed. But the booster jets in the Vitara and Swift Sport are such a pleasure to drive. I wish Suzuki all the best when the 1.5 GLX auto Hybrid Allgrip costs R529 900 - OUCH

Look at it from the perspective of competing in the market. Look at its biggest rival, the Kia Seltos, it packs more value per Rand than that car and it has 2 things the Seltos doesnt, AWD and a mild hybrid system. Thats probably why they didnt go for the Turbo, the cost involved. These are made in India and they dont have the 1.4l Boosterjet there so they would have to get it from Hungary or Japan which is as an expensive undertaking. I personally would prefer the Boosterjet but i get the costs involved, how many Vitara turbos and swift sports are on the roads now?
