I have booked hyryder when they opened it . But still now I am clueless when can I get it .
Do you really get more power in sport mode? Sport mode in Vitara 2015- only makes the gas pedal more sensitive. ❤ love the look
How different is the suspension tuning in the Grand Vitara as compared to the Hyryder?

At @8:33 there is a typo, it's not a 3 cylinder engine but 4 cylinder one on the 1462cc variant.

All bases covered without mincing words. Definitely insightful for first time hybrid buyers. Hyryder and Grand Vitara back to back comparison will be interesting.

Hardly anything to compare, save for the looks. As mentioned in the review engineering, tuning and setup is all don’t by Maruti Suzuki for both the cars. Toyota is simply manufacturing the two cars.

I think I like the Grand Vitara styling better. The smiley face like grille doesn't cut it for me. But what i am curious about is the weight, the Grand Vitara/Hair dryer are heavier than Brezza and with full 5 occupants and luggage, will it struggle on the highway and inclines? (I know ertiga is 6-7 seater but you don't expect much with an MPV). Also MS i known for rattly interiors, going by the fact that these are manufactured by Toyota, would it be any different given Maruti has done most of the engineering part? That panoramic sunroof cover is just 😳 The regular sunroof get material similar to roof lining. I haven't really driven one with Panoramic sunroof before, are the covers similar in other models?

Should it make a difference over the time that I had an option of choosing an larger affordable car, shouldn't Regret later. My ride is less, 3-5K in an year. Suzuki should use their 48V mile hybrid. They have used their 12V mild hybrid agian.

Yes, my point too. The strong hybrid also should have been a Suzuki powertrain. Almost feels like Toyota brought it to the table only to partake in the JV

Is the almost 1.8 lac price difference between zeta plus and alpha plus variant justified ? HUD, 360 camera, ventilated seats and wireless charging are the only features which separates the 2 variants.

That upper variant has ventilated seats, letherate seat covers, leather wrapped steering wheels, 360 camera, integrated TPMS. HUD and Wireless charging is already available in zera plus variant. So Zeta plus is really VFM variant
Automatic Hyruder S model at 15.11 is cheaper than Seltos or Creta automatics. Clear winner
Brilliant sir rohit you aree the potent weapon of overdrive. Just one thing here in an Indian environment where braking is a lot don't you feel the battery pack should have been larger, especially now when the highways of intercity are ready and above all beige apolstry.
Since I own Toyota Etios Liva Diesel variant , I will go for Toyota Hyryder 🙏🙏🙏
this new Grand Vitara design looks great from each side, front, side and back, not many cars have that...Toyota??? for pensioners...
hopefully the suzuki factory will be present in Indonesia this version and the fuel efficiency engine is okay for the future. Hope Suzuki can provide customer satisfaction. want to drive RWD FWD and AWD 4WD. and the choice of using sandruft or not using sandruft on the platform. I hope there are many types of this car. from the lowest medium to the highest for all types of cars from suzuki

I doubt if this car will come to Indonesia.
I would go with the mild hybrid grand vitara because i love my trunk space even though for that wheelbase and that class of car, its kind o pathetic.
Rightly said that its not for people looking for an enthusiastic or plush SUV, as those laurels are reserved for other contenders in the category; and hybrid engine is the thing which makes Maruti's case strong. But only if Honda had a contender of their own with 1.5NA and hybrid engines, I wonder what would have made the case for Grand Vitara.

In ‘nit picking’ section, I think you feel the cabin lights sound clunky because it has actually 3 positions. On, off and a middle position which will turn lights on when the door is open. So you are trying to turn on and off only but going through 3 levels unknowingly.
Vitara got muscular and bold face and more suv feel than the hyryder

Maruti Scross was the more feature packed car with a good snart hybrid engine but somehow not many sold.. miss that 1.3L NA smart hybrid engine
Maruti will always be a "Maruti", whatever they do to it, and its ridiculous that Toyota is serviving by selling "Maruti" cars......
Seems Overdrive Not very happy with Maruti. Such a negative review for the first time by Overdrive. Disappointing
