    Idk what others think but the design team at Suzuki are doing a damn good job!! These bikes look absolutely gorgeous, edgy and boxy, a bit retro, a bit futuristic!! Certainly different than anything out there.

    @No_Name V Strom DE are meant to be off-road specific just like V strom 1050DE,but there is an option as V strom 1050 with 19 inch alloy wheel version , hope they come up with a on road version of this 800cc version too

    @No_Name In Australia, most roads ARE off road because the quality is generally pretty ordinary. After all the recent rain in the East, potholes are opening up everywhere, and coming back days after they are fixed. Some are 20cm+ deep and 50cm+ in diameter.....I swear I saw a Smartcar get swallowed up by a larger one recently..... Point being, road bikes that can do 350km/h are all good, but they are designed for optimal conditions. Personally, I prefer to have something that can hit a pothole and have a better chance of keeping the rider and bike in one piece.

    Hi! Thanks a lot for this interesting video! As V Strom 1050 owner I'm sorry about the fact they had to give up on the V twin engine. But I'd pick a new V Strom for sure even with a parallel twin engine. At least the oil filter's gonna have a better protection! Looks great, only thing is - do the wheels look like regular spokes into the rim? On the XT I have there's a lip on the rim and spokes run through that, which means its tubeless from the factory, whereas I gather this new one is tubed? Given the risk of puncture and the convenience of repair, I prefer tubeless, but for 'true offroad' maybe you need tubes?, if you deflate a little does it work better on tubed tyres??? Can you aftermarket electronic cruise control on ride by wire bikes?

  • @nestserau

    @nestserau

    Yes tubed wheels give you more options. You can play with pressure, rim locks and systems that allow you to run without any air at all (like mousses). Those are usually not street legal though.
