Hey all! Love the podcast. Its like watching a covert tutoring session. Breakfast and Gout have tricked Nate into going to school by telling him he has his own podcast. But what is really happening is they are helping Nate catch up on his education. The tutoring team is helping Nate learn how to read, and educating him on many facts he obviously missed while he was in school the first time! Of course I'm just kidding! Thanks for all the laughs and I pray for all of you very often. Blessings!

Hey Nate! You’ve been my family’s favorite comedian for the past 3 years. A few weeks before we went on a backpacking trip through Zion National Park my best friend showed me your Netflix special. After a hard third day into our trip we got to our campsite and set up our hammocks. A hale storm came through and left us soaked and cold. We watched the storm go north and then proceeded to come back around and not leave the rest of the night. Since all we brought were hammocks (except my dad) me, my dad, two brothers, and best friend all had to squeeze inside my dad’s two man tent. While we were sardined inside all night, trying to stay warm and dry my brother pulled out his phone and we played one of your Comedy Central specials. You made a terrible night a little more bearable and we still laugh about it all the time. And always bring tents camping. My wife and I finally getting the opportunity to see you live in Vegas this weekend. Can’t wait!

About a 2 months ago I found out about this podcast and I started listening to it while I am at work. In the beginning people are constantly coming into my office and asking why I am laughing so hard! Now I will still hear people outside say “Why is she laughing so hard in there?” Or “Is there someone in there with her?” and my coworkers just say “She’s listening to that Nateland Podcast again” no matter how many weird or concerning looks I get I still listen everyday! Now that I am caught up on podcasts I am even going to go back and watch them all! Thanks for making everyday better! PS Greg’s laugh made me laugh 3x harder! What a great guest! Let’s Go Folks!

“Show me” is the Missouri version of “what’s your source on that?” So maybe Nate should consider a move there to be with people who probably think everything is “UNBELIEVABLE” until proven wrong. Love you guys, keep up the fun!

I have just recently discovered Greg Warren within the last few days. That peanut butter set was hysterical, and wholesome, and I've rewatched it at least six times. Further investigation brought me here. I was already stoked that he seemed to know a lot about the grocery business, and I laughed my ass off, because I've been working as a grocery store checker for the last three years. At a K.F.S. in Cassville, which is maybe 45 minutes from Springfield. I'm... pretty fast. People tell me all the time I'm the fastest checker in the state, not exaggerating. And I had NO idea that Greg was from Missouri, too! Dude, two years ago on March 1st, I had a tourist walk up and ask what aisle we kept our AMMUNITION on. Sir. This is a grocery store, we do not sell ammunition. It is also the first day of trout season... And, my guy, if you're trout fishing and it's going so bad for you that you have considered SHOOTING THE FISH, then... Just give up. Take the loss gracefully. The fish have outsmarted you. That's a wrap on today.

I was laughing so hard when you were discussing the Autonomous Cars basing their decision on who to hit being determined by the individuals worth and it seeking out Bates. Then I saw Brian's face nervous laughing and I felt bad. He looked like he was the kid in school everyone was picking on, making fun of themselves just to be included. I want to ask you to take it easy on Brandon, but it is too funny. Keep it up.😂

Also, Greg Warren's laugh is contagious. Loved the Missouri episode!

A little disappointed Bitcoin or ‘One B Weber’ didn’t keep the episode on track. I think there’s at least a decent chance the folks learn more about Missouri in the next ‘Universe Episode’ than we did in the episode titled ‘Missouri’. Also, I live in the Ozark Mountains, and nobody calls it Missourah unironically. I appreciate you all doing this weekly for all of us folks! Looking forward to seeing you all in Springfield again!

Nate is right about "Fatherly Advice" coming later and not right when the baby is born. When I was pregnant for the first time I met an older woman at a work training. When I told her I was pregnant the first thing she asked me was, "How are you planning to handle the tooth fairy?" I was so surprised by the question that I just laughed at her.

When talking about the AI college paper writing scam, when Aaron said you need a fall guy, and Nate began his list in response, he said you need a fall guy, then made an “s” sound for the word security, but I swear I thought he was going to say, “you need a spring guy, a summer guy, and a winter guy.” I guess old Nate is smarter than we thought. Future episode idea: Ethical Philosophical dilemma’s. Do you steal bread to feed your starving family? Should breakfast Bates put syrup in a waffle maker? Should Meredith sleep with salesmen for discounts on paper? I mean the AI car killing you or a group is a modern day example of the Trolly Problem by Philippa Foot. I’m laughing now imagining Aaron try to find the kindest way to explain to Nate why some people see it as a dilemma. Meanwhile, Bates chimes in with something about the moral majority of the 1950s. You know you guys are truly funny when I’m laughing, just thinking about made up scenarios. Keep it up! So thankful for the laughs.

My biggest surprise of this episode was how mad Nate gets when being "razed" about sports teams even though he LOVES to tease everyone, pull pranks, etc. I love sports and get very passionate about my teams also. (I agree about calming down a little now at my age. 44) However, where we differ, I am not the type of person that teases, jokes, pranks people etc. Is sports where we draw the line? You are still my favorite comedian even if we have to agree to disagree. 😜

You guys should look up the airplane game from the 80s. It’s basically game people used to play where someone acted as the pilot, and all the people acting as passengers would give money to the pilot. Then you could go host your own game where you are the pilot. Essentially a pyramid scheme. People actually used to play this and some got arrested. Keep up the good work folks

I'm from north Alabama and we have the same tales of giant catfish at the dams on the Tennessee River. Big enough to eat a man. Must be universal.

Yet again Aaron showing off that high class education. Unfamiliar with a fleur de lis. It’s a pretty famous French symbol Aaron, they’re seen not only on the top of “rich people’s gates” but also on the helmet of the New Orleans Saints. 🤦🏼‍♂️

I heard a sermon one time that said just like we wake our parents up and talk to them like you’re strong man you referred to 😂 we have that exact same access to the king of the world, Jesus! We are like children who approach Jesus-like that little girl approaches her strong dad. I had never heard that analogy before and thought some of you would find it intriguing.

In 2002 the one year I lived in Missouri they had where you could vote at the state fair on how to say it Missouree or Missourah. Missouree won by a landslide! 74% to 26%

Comedy question for anyone of you: Nate talked about moving bits around his show and it resulted in losing time. I recently watched Seinfeld’s Netflix “Comedian” as recommended by Nate. Seinfeld had a moment on stage when he forgot his bit entirely and just couldn’t get it back at all. I saw something like fear in his eyes. Has this ever happened to you on stage?

There have been cases (not many) of bull sharks traveling up the Mississippi River far enough to reach Missouri, so the shark at the museum isn’t THAT out of place 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hate to bust Aaron out again, but I’m pretty sure Missouri has a giant river running along its Eastern border. Not exactly land locked.

What is in Nate's jacket this episode? It looks like a fist trying to mash it's way out of his stomach.
