Nate Bargatze | Bob Saget's Here For You
Комедия
Nate Bargatze is a person that, once you watch his standup, you feel like you’ve always known him and want to be friends with him. I thoroughly enjoyed talking with him about his roots and particularly his craft and great humor- When those two meet it’s something very special.
His latest Netflix Special is: “The Greatest Average American,” and it’s a must watch for anyone who loves comedy. It’s about all things, many petty little things, that most of us go through, but through Nate’s lens. What’s so refreshing is that Nate is an original voice. And he’s so focused and yet spontaneous in how he communicates. He’s both brilliantly funny and soothing - All the result of spending two decades creating his comedy persona. All real.
His precious Netflix Special is: “The Tennessee Kid,” which all rings true, being born and raised in Nashville, specifically, in Old Hickory.
Loved this convo. Check out all things Nate by going to natebargatze.com (“Nateland”) and treat yourself to seeing him live on his never ending “Raincheck Tour” that he keeps adding shows and dates to in cities all over the U.S.
His podcast is also quite fun: “The Nateland Podcast,” available wherever you get them, through All Things Comedy.
He’s 42 now and writing and performing and growing constantly. I’m extremely happy indeed to now know this smart, funny man, with an admirable and incredibly satisfying work ethic. And we both share that we need to unpack our clothes even if we’re just spending one night in a hotel on the road.

About the Podcast:
BOB SAGET’S HERE FOR YOU is a podcast that is like no other- Because it goes inside Bob’s Saget’s mind, and then quickly filters out through his mouth. Bob has a way of calming people with genuine empathy and humor while they’re going through a difficult time, which we all are at present. Reaching his unusually diverse audience that he talks to as a friend, Bob is the dad with great advice, the irreverent funny guy who’s always there when you need a laugh, and the free-associative Bob who goes off on crazy tangents then returns to the subject at hand, as serious or as comedic as it may be, to wrap up each episode in a way only Bob can do. Because he really does believe, “He’s here for you."

LET’S GO FOLKS! Nate is hands down my favorite comedian rn. rewatch/listen to his specials at least twice a week.
I'm heartbroken. Such an amazing comedian, person and actor has now left. 65 is waaay to young for this legend

Do you know who was on his podcast of 12/11/21? Thanks.
One of the greatest interviewing the latest. Bob will be missed. The golf cart pick up of Bergeron was a classic TV moment. His voice overs during the early years kept AFV funny instead of just a collage of groin shots. RIP Bob! Hope people will realize how underrated you were and won't forget.
RIP Bob. We love you and will miss you always
Nate’s the best. So underrated and the Epitome of the word gentleman.
Rest in peace, Bob. Gone too soon.
Love the interview Bob, you're great and I love how you actually give the guest space to talk and it all flows nice. Also Nate's crushing it right now
Love you always, Bob
I have been waiting to watch this for almost a month… I started it tonight and got the news of your passing. Nate is my favorite comedian. You, Bob, we’re my favorite TV Dad! Thank you for the memories and all the laughs!
Rest In Peace Mr. Saget.
Love how much respect Nate gets - and gives - among standups.
Nate the Great!

Good night! That’s unbelievable!
I will watch anything with Nate in it and this did not disappoint! Let’s go folks!
I had the wildest time at Skankfest in Houston and Bob Saget was My favorite stand up set of the weekend. I never saw his old stuff but he’s so sincere and genuine on stage and I’m happy this popped up on my feed you got a new subscriber Bob!
Definitely a good thing Bob! I'd watch you two together again any day. Maybe you can add me to that nightly call from Nate!
We miss you, Bob ❤
You are Great Nate! How special it must feel for Bob Saget to tell you you are good 😢
Rip America's favorite dad/ dirty comedian!
Loved this! Thanks so much Bob! Awesome interview
I have a feeling this Bob Saget fellow is going places.
Looking forward to hearing this one later today!
I hope Bob gets paid a ton for his ad reads. He actually makes me believe that he loves these products. You've gotta love Bob Saget!
As good as this was, it broke my heart.
This was such a joy to watch. I laughed out loud many times.
One of the first specials he saw was Sinbad. Makes perfect sense, in his prime he was second to none in terms of clean comics!
Great interview. Nate is my favorite stand-up comedian right now and his podcast is superb (as is Bob's). When Bob was talking about doing his 16 year old daughter's laundry and finding a thong which led to a joke about finding his daughter's thong, which made her angry, all I could think was "If she was 16 years old why wasn't she doing her own laundry?"
Loved the food truck (Honda accord) vs McDonalds theory by Nate, so true! 🤣
Its great that the only three syllable word nate uses is the word comedy. RIP Bob Sagat, a huge figure in many people's childhood.
I Love both these guys, but will someone send Nate a mic? Great episode.
The thing that got me about Bob is that nobody didn't like him. He's just that kind of guy.
42 is the answer to life. They're still working on finding the question.
I am looking for the 12/11/21 podcast. Anyone know who the guest or guests were on that broadcast? Thanks in advance.
Hello Folks, Danny, it's "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" created by Douglas Adams
I love u and need 2 waiting till ending to comment.
....featuring Rodney Dangerfield's bong. On shelf behind Bob.
Let’s Go Folks!
I know there used to be a phone number to call and leave a message for BOB, does it still exsist?
I don't know unfortunately this guest material but... sounds a lot like myself talk ING. Wow!
I told my 6 yo to get ready that in 15 or 20 years, she'd have to move out... I think she cried.
I fucking love Bob Saget

And sincere. I doubt DC would disagree that his act intentionally induces discomfort.

Dave Chappelle is my favorite of these. But he knows he had mental health issues that prevents him to accept his fame.
