I only like it when Nate, Brian and Aaron goof on each other (maybe Nik when he’s on). Something about when a guest tries to do it makes me like hey watch it, buddy! Lol. Like when Jay Cutler was on he was kinda a dick to Aaron but thought he was being funny. I realize I’m a little soft though lol.

Tried to get my 21 year old daughter to listen, she told me not her type of humor. Today, I was going to get coffee and she asked for Ice coffee with milk. I get home she said dad, how long would it take you to get down to 165 lbs? It hit me when I told my wife there was a coupon for milk in the paper and my daughter yelled “way to go Lady Bargatze” that she has been listening to the pod as well as all the specials! I yelled back “Hello Folks” which she responded “let’s go folks”. My wife rolled her eyes and left. We both wish for speedy recovery for Aaron, healthy news for Breakfast, Mrs. Breakfast and baby break, and No diabetes for Nate and family!

Nate I have been a type II diabetic for a long while (I am 66) just eat smart . No need to go off the food no eat deep end . You work in a world of strange eating times and that is what you have to look at . I think you will be fine most people panic and talk when they should be quiet . Great podcast. I love how they treat Sonny just like any other guy- no celebrity treatment whatsoever. As grounded as it gets. Then a flashback story from BoingBoing's stealing 2B back to 1B had me laughing just as hard as when I first heard it. 5K = 5000 mile race. 😂 it barely got noticed but I loved that too Nate! Awesome episode guys!

To be fair, I'm an ice road trucker. I missed the Star Meter explanation because it was a long and stormy night. The roads were slick. I hopped out of the rig to save an innocent little panguin that ran in front of me. I had no time to pause the episode. I ended up losing a leg and never had the time to rewind back to that part. Who is laughing now, Bargatze?

I’m going through all the episodes AGAIN… because I love you all & this podcast!! But it’s time to speak out on what all of us folks are witnessing!! Bubby’s super sad eyes when Nate acts unimpressed by every topic that we know he approved!? Aarons conversion into an enabler- with his “that’s fair” comment at every turn. And Nate, …. Who hurt you man?? I envision you taking their lunch money… but not being so bad that you aren’t willing to give them some change back. … Sadly, this all works for me. 🤪 Thanks for the entertainment! There was no mention by anyone at the table of Steve Carell being the star of Even almighty ( the sequel to Bruce almighty ) which is clearly why Nate got mixed up.. y’all just looked at each other with goofy faces and moved on dismissing Nate’s confusion. sums up this podcast

Hallmark Christmas Movies!!!! My wife and I watch them every year! It's one of the things we look forward to for all the reasons Nate mentioned, but they're so predictable! I even downloaded a Hallmark movie tracking app so we could check off our list. After we watched all the 2021 Christmas Movies, we went back and watched some of the series of movies. I.e. Christmas at Graceland, and Christmas in Evergreen. Things like the car in the middle of the road in the Christmas in Evergreen movies drove us nuts! Among other things like fake snow, the dad constantly tinkering with the Christmas decorations on the house (who does that), tree lighting "events." Never understood that tradition...

I'm up to episode 33 and keep bulleting through no matter how boring it gets. Can't miss a single episode of Nate, Aaron, and Hershey. Compelled to comment this morning so adding to the current episode chat, major condolences over the death of Bob Saget. I just turned 50 and up until today, Nateland was my only podcast. Today, I'm listening to Bob Saget's Here for You with special guest Nate Bargatze. Underrated legend ...both Saget and Nate. Keep up the good work guys. Peace.

My husband and I had a good laugh at the fact that Nate likes Hallmark movies! My mom LOVES Hallmark movies, and my husband always gives her grief about how they are so predictable (and the fact that she messes up the algorithm for the Netflix account 😂 and it always suggests he’d want to watch them). He’s convinced that Nate only likes them because they are a good place to find humorous content, not for the actual movies themselves… is this true? I think he’ll be disappointed (and I’ll laugh) if Nate does indeed like Hallmark movies for the story itself!! Thanks for all the laughs guys 😊 we listened to you during our whole road trip from Wisconsin to Florida (and back) over CHRISTmas break. Even the teenagers enjoyed it! I don’t have a story to top Breakfast, but I’m a cancer survivor and on crutches and played Little League for a few years. When I would come up to bat, kids would be nervous to pitch to me because they didn’t have great control and didn’t want to hit me. A few times they would come close but not close to hitting me, but I would act like I’d been hit to either get on base or get in their heads. Enjoyed this podcast about my favorite sport!

Would have loved if the girls car from the hallmark movie was towed and completed derailed their entire day and had to deal with going to the impound lot , paperwork, etc… then the movie just ends there.

Entertaining show today as always and we got the bonus of seeing you on The Tonight Show this week, funny stuff. Looking forward to seeing who hits the Nate Weight Date first. Who will touch the 160s and when will it be? I’m about the same weight, so I will be playing along from home. I was at 189 and now I’m down 3 pounds. Who’s winning?

Loved the show and loved Cole. But one thing I couldn’t stop thinking about…If the Atlantic called Nate a walking Xanax, what would they call Cole? He was like a Xanax, wrapped in a Zoloft, tucked in a Prozac and dipped in Ambien. I think I need to move to the south to enjoy more folks like this. And if I picked a location just based on the numbers of times I’ve heard it mentioned, I would think Lebanon is where it’s at.

Every time Sonny talked I kept picturing Mick... Which makes me curious how far Mick can throw a football. Can that be the next krispy kreme challenge? Nate, Boatramp, Aaron, and Mick all guess how far they can throw, then go prove it. Looking forward to the Jan 13th show in Lexington!

Watched Nate last night on Fallon and it was hilarious. I'm now questioning if Nate is funnier sitting down. I mean his special are great but a relaxed Nate in a chair on the podcast and on Fallon is also hilarious. I think Nate should do his next special seated just so I'll know and because I think it will be funny.

Hey Nate, here’s a tip for reducing your sugar intake. Whenever you want a sugary food item (real or artificial sugar) instead eat a candy bar. So if you wake up and want a diet coke; instead, drink a water and eat a snickers bar. If an hour later you want some sour patch kids candy; eat another candy bar. It sounds counter productive, but there is less sugar in something like a snickers bar (20 grams) than a serving of sour patch kids (24grams) or a regular soda (39 grams). Eating a candy bar feels substantial, it’s more satisfying, and compared to other sugary treats they often contain less sugar. After doing this for a few days, you’ll be so tired of eating full size candy bars you’ll cut back, eventually getting your sugar intake to something more reasonable. I used this trick myself and it’s how I quit soda. I lost 15 pounds in a month.

I'm totally with Nate on the Hallmark movie thing. Movies in general always have stuff that makes you feel like "Yeah, that's not how real life works". How about at the end of Titanic when the old woman throws a 20 MILLION DOLLAR necklace into the ocean (spoiler alert) and we're supposed to just be like "Well, she needed closure, can't put a price on that". I don't think so!

Nathan, Weber Grills and Bran Flakes...for folks who love Seinfeld as much as y'all do, but who also are not fans of comics who laugh at their own jokes, how do you navigate the fact that Jerry is consistently grinning, almost outright giggling, so often after delivering lines? Like, he is on the verge of breaking character on a very regular basis. Thoughts?? Thanks for all y'all do.

It really surprised me when talking about jury duty that Nate focused on putting people to jail versus setting some kind of record and giving 10 million to the 123rd power dollars to somebody for something ridiculous.

I always listen in the car, so I never see the video, but Nic Novicki either sounds like a higher octave version of Sonny, or Sonny like a lower octave version of Nic. Intern Cole also seemed to kind of channel Aaron at times in this episode...must be the chair!

Does Nate considers himself a Rom Com person? I hear him talk a lot about Mission Impossible type films, but after learning that he is a new fan of Hallmark Christmas movies, coupled with the fact that his two favorite moments from The Office were when Michael showed up to Pam’s art show and Jim asked Pam on the date, I’d pin him more as a Rom Com guy. Also, I love the hallmark channel. My roommates hate it so much that my aunt and I have struck a deal that she’ll dvr the movies and I’ll house sit for her and my uncle when they go out of town to visit their kids.

Nate Dog, A.Dub and Bisquick…I’ve been preaching for 25ish years, and I like to think I’m pretty entertaining and funny. Do you think those skills could translate at all to standup comedy, or do you think it’s apples and oranges?? I know y’all have plenty of church experience so thought y’all might be able to weigh in. Thank y’all for all yoh guys do. Blessings!!
