Wow. Thank you!!! My throttle controller stopped working on my d4 and the switch to the eco turbo dual single so I was having trouble diagnosing and troubleshooting. This video saved my ass bc I forgot to label where wires were before I disconnected them. I appreciate u taking time to do this for people that u don't know and who are not paying ya. Can't wait to see how you waterproof this. I purchased mine a week ago and love it, but it rains frequently here. I thought it'd be as easy as the other waterproofing job you showed, i was very wrong.

Hi , for the water proofing I would try using bicycle , or even better some old car inner tube..to cut out a seal that fits that whole front compartment. You could also use grease , I think " red lithium grease " in combination with DIY seal. And then maybe do a test with hose pipe , of course removing electronics or wrap them up

When I was off-roading, a spark came from front brake area. Still that, I don’t have regenative brake on both wheel. Do you have an idea where I should go and watch? I have a d6+. Thanks.

hi I just got the d5+ v2.0 from a friend, it is brand new and I think because it was not charged for over a year and the battery maybe dead, I try to charge it , and it won't be charged( not sure ). anyway it is not turning on at all. is there any recommendations for how to fix it ? thank you

I had to replace the folding mechanism on my D5+ and had to disconnect the wires then reconnect them. The problem is that the the rear motor is going in reverse. Have you heard of an issue like this before?

I built my ebike junkyard style long range hard tail she's slow I bought my d5 with 500 miles on it for the reason to work on it make it my own I'm curious though what is the top speed stock because mine goes 30 max I weigh 130lb should I look to upgrade the battery and controller before waterproofing mine I found alot of problems off the bat

IT would be nice to see how the wiring goes from the handle bars to the battery areas you just skipped over. Need to replace the lighting/horn swithch unit. Cheers

I have a d5 idk if its a 2.0 or not i have the 26ah battery and one charge port with three prongs not a single barrel like my newer ebike chargers whats the difference between d5+ and d5+2.0

My rear speed controller is vibrating something awful. And suggestions.also not sure what model scooter I have.

Could you post a picture of the wiring diagram in the comments, closer up, screenshot seems to come out blurry on my phone. I mounted my controllers outside the battery compartment to make more space to make a bigger battery, and I'm wiring up my own sequencial talk lights and blinkers, and I want to run my actual brake lights up, but the switch wire goes to the controller for electronic braking, just trying to figure out if I can bridge off the switch wire for my lights or if the should come off the controller itself as well

Hey I need your help) My D5+ just stopped working and I text nanrobot support and they told me that BMS of the battery is broken and it needs to be replaced, it’s dangerous to replace just bms they told me, so nanrobot just tried to sell me new battery and that’s $500. Is it possible to find what type of BMS I need? And how can I find it online to purchase? Thank you

Looks like you'll have to make a waterproof rubber seal for the front piece! Maybe extend the back of the front fender with some rubber?

Sorry it don't have the d6 buti have plenty of video's on how to take out the batteries on scooters. That might point you in the right direction. Either way it's not a hard job.

I have a d5+ and my head lights and tail lights don't come on except when I turn the handle bar. I unwrapped the wire bundle coming down from the handle bar. Found the problem wire and it is the wire that comes down the handle bar, and travels back to tail lights. It seems like this is the same wire that operates the rear brake. How would I replace this wire?

Not going to be the easiest of jobsbutnit to hard either. You will probably have to un- solder some wires and then re-solder them back together. Also you will have to undo some wires and pull it out of the neck of the scooter to replace the whole wire. It might be easier just to cut out the bad section and solder a piece in its place.

you can sneeze while in the same room as my d5+ and it will set off the alarm its sucks because id like to use it but its so sensitive it goes off as soon as you arm the alarm

Do you have any videos showing exactly how to remove the deck?

Probably your speed controllers if the battery is good.

I screwed up trying to rewrite my key lock. Is there anyway I can wire it to just not have a key lock?

Any idea if this thing has a fuse somewhere? Mine blew the front motor controller today (checked by spinning the motor with/without the controller connected). But the ignition key won't have an effect - no power. Was hoping to just ride with a single motor for now while I order a replacement controller

I don't think it has a fuse anywhere to replace for example: in line with a wire. But i have heard some people say there might be one in the motor controller. You could try opening it up since you have to replace it anyway.

@@wattsinyours I found the answer :) There seems to be a thermal fuse in the ignition switch. Disconnecting the small-gauge wire coming from the battery for a few seconds has reset it. I'm able to use the battery again. Whew! I thought the BMS has permanently disabled the battery, since it wasn't charging and no voltage was coming from it. Will ride in rear-wheel-drive mode until I receive a replacement controller. Thank you so much for your videos, I watched them all before receiving the scooter, and I'm very glad I did! It helped avoid shipping the whole thing back to them for what will be a very simple repair

Not on this model, but you can adjust the speed modes from the throttle controller if you want to increase or decrease speed.

@@djnmlexxx thanks for the kind words. I don't have a pic of the inside of the controller. You can take yours apart and see what it looks like. As far as the speed limit wire there is none. A 52v, 2000w system is only going to run in the low 30's pretty much no matter what you do with the current set up. Trying to boost it anymore than it is will probably end up burning up a motor or smoking a controller or the battery. If there was a way to get some more speed out of it i probably would of figured that out by now. The only option at this point is to upgrade the speed controllers and the motors or buy a new scooter.

@@wattsinyours Hi pal nice to hear from you yes they are making some progress with the scooters here in the UK they are supposed to be making scooters legal some time in May with trials in some parts of the UK before giving the green light across the whole of the UK but with the corona virus i think they will not rush got to get this virus sorted out its crippling the world we suffering here in the UK death toll is going up daily i can not leave the house i have had to self isolate take 12 weeks off work because i have got emphysema that makes me more vulnerable if i was to get the virus but hopefully they will find a way to sort the virus Regards Clive

I have the D5+ 2.0 and when I have the dual wheel on my front wheel kicks in then stop working but the back wheel works fine Does anybody Knows what could it be And also my throttle trigger goes all the way down is that normal i need HELP 🙏 thank you In advance and stay safe 😷

It could be a loose connection causing the front wheel to loose power or the speed controller could be going bad. I would start with yracing some wires to the motor. Also the throttle on mine does go all the way down.

Yes it is. Not the easiest task but a little patience and you can get it done. You will have to bypass it probably by unplugging it and putting a jumper in the plug, but be cautious bc i have not tried it yet. You can probably do it all in the deck, but those key locks are really cheap so you have options on which route you want to go.

@@bn-su4dh you could probably jumper 2 of the wires together to bypass the lock out feature but i am not available to look at that right now and i don't want you to short anything out. I would have to put a meter on the wires to figure out what locks out the scooter.

@@wattsinyours i had the red and green it worked , i rode home then untwisted them , in the morning put it back now nothing. an the battery is fully charged...you live in nyc? will pay for help

My voltage meter only goes to 58.3 or 4 volts on lock display on lcd display it's 58.7 58.8 full with a volt meter it's at 58.6 to 58.7 full. Another thing my alarm is so sensative I can't use it can I fix that and does that alarm cause my battery drain it will drain over course of 2 to 3 days from full to 57.8 on the dot every time and stops there for a long time without draining does the alarm have a auto cut off maybe or something that stops the drain or is it just bad cells balancing can I just disconnect the alarm all together anyway maybe get an after market one that doesn't go off even if it's not touched after a few seconds of arming it
