It's not good to put that high density foam between the floor and the battery. That causes all the pressure and vibrations from your body to push on the battery pack. The gap is there for a purpose. There are other ways to secure the battery, closer to the edges.

Awesome ideas. I also am all about modding my similar scooter. I have a clone from a different manufacturer, but can tell that we have the same chassis and electronics inside. I thought I was the only one digging around inside this thing, but I have had some mechanical challenges along the way, so I had to. Thanks for sharing your efforts. I have been thinking about a gasket for the main compartment also, since the rtv gets hosed the first time you open it. My initial thoughts are that the deck needs more bolts added to clamp well enough to be effective. Subscribed - feel free to check my efforts out too! FYI - I have replaced my throttle with a Ey3 controller from minmotors, and it I am much happier with it than the original like you have. Hey strider thanks for watching and subscribing. I watched a couple of your videos. Love the fact that you dive right in so great job. Its funny bc i was looking at those scooters online before i bought my nanrobot and yes it is the same exact scooter except for a couple of part, like the stem for the handle bars. The only reason why i didn't buy that one bc it wasn't as well known and was worried about warranty issues. Side note i almost bought it though lol. Where do you order parts for that? Do they have a website. I was just wondering so if i need parts for my rs7 i have an additional place to look. I hope to explore more about these scooters with you and my KZread fam and good luck with your repairs and mods. As always im here to help where i can.

@@wattsinyours True- us tinkerers need to share knowledge for sure! The best resource I have found thus far is Reddit but it is light on expert knowledge so I think we are "the guys" at this point. Love the formatting of your videos - I need to do the same so they are easier to follow for the public. My videos were mainly made to try to prove to the supplier that their parts failed. A lot of good that did me... To answer YOUR questions: I bought all of my parts via Aliexpress. You have to be very thorough with your searches and sometimes root through many offerings, but can eventually find the right part if you keep digging. You were right to be worried about warranty, as the Samezone folks don't even answer my messages anymore (6 months or so into this). We are on mostly on our own with these China-scooters I think....) If I can help in any way, let me know, as I have done a TON of troubleshooting so far.

That gasket without gluing make no sense. Plate on top i so thin to keep it in proper squeze. Remember you jumping on top of it and everything is working. Rubber will lose its elasticity over time and I can bet that you will find more gaps between bolts then before. Is better to use proper glue for that type of job .

Even the most expensive China scooters look underbuilt and poorly designed compared to my 20 year old Kawasaki which can survive half submerged in water. Both are Asians eating stuff with chopsticks but their philosophy to product design is just a world apart. Also his effort is just slightly improving the scooter as there are numerous holes for water to seep in. The entire design of these Chinese scooters does not take rain into consideration. The Chinese are happy with taking your money and don´t care if you die with brake failure or the scooter explodes and burns your house down while charging.
