It's 12 volts and I want to get a converter to where I can hook them up to my tail lights in headlight. I don't know if I just need a fuse, or a little Transformer to lower the voltage like you did

Those controllers are designed to just last pass your warranty. I bought the Ultron t113 scooter and the controllers failed in less than 2 months with 20ah battery. I did modified my scooter with an upgraded large controllers and battery. My scooter now goes 56mph and now have a 41ah 208pcs of slightly used sanyo ncr18650ga cells battery inside and all the controllers mounted outside with constant so I'm able to maintain high speed with no heat problem.

As far as range, like you said it depends on the lot of factors. But I've come to realize you're better off going by the voltage instead of the battery bars. It's going to die completely at 46 V .so when I hit 48 I know I should head home which is usually within 5 miles. And Loctite works good for loose bolts. If your folding handlebars rattle when you fold them down there's a tiny Allen key bolt in there. If you back it out backwards just a little bit it will get rid of the rattle. When it's in the right place squirt a little super glue on it and it will stay there. Otherwise eventually the rattle will damage your handlebars

Hi man, nice vid about the cables! just got my new scooter, but literally the first time I pulled the throttle (90% charged battery), it shut down and I couldnt turn it on anymore. After I plugged out and in every connection/cables, It came alive...but after a short ride (like some seconds) it shat down again. After I checked all the wires, I saw that one of the two fuses (the little yellow XT60) was burnt out!!! now i know that this occurs this shutdown as a safety thing and I dont want to trigger it over and over again, I dont want to damage the controllers. What do you think about replacing the fuse? is it the main cause and could a replacement solve the whole issue, or it is just the effect of something bigger problem? I hope my comment reaches you. Regards!

But I think that very deep inside you were looking for a reason to send it back return the scooter to get something much more powerful, when you rode the D4 you were probably not very satisfied with the speed 🤭 and were like eehhh Ill just return it and get myself a Rocket like the RS7 🙂.. and this is no offense to you, I totally understand. Same thing happened to me with the Qiewa Q1Hummer. I didnt like the speed. 😒.. and I was like ehhh I'll just go all in and get the Qpower 😁💪🚀

Im trying to diagnose my nanobot d4+ 2.0 scooter. This problem does not happen in the cold morning on my first ride but happens in middle of day when it is warmer. Im in NM my first ride is at 50 degress and it is still about 35 degrees over night so the battery is cold on the first ride. What happens is on the second ride when its 70 degrees outside both motors cut out when I'm in dual mode and when i go full throttle, and also sometimes when i try to just accelerate quickly. when it cuts out i does not come back alive by simply backing off a little on the throttle but i have to totally go back to 0 or no throttle and then the motors start if i re-engage the throttle more gently incrementing the speed. It does not happen in single mode when in just rear hub drive. When in single mode i can press the throttle fully and as quickly as I like. If I think of the thumb throttle as a clock that goes clockwise from 12 to 6. it is at the 5 when the motors cut out. It also happens if i got from 12 to 3 very very quickly. I'm pretty techy and i can replace of fix most anything but I like to diagnose first. I did have an extra thumb throttle speed controller so i did decide to replace that (because a year ago i brew out its usb power port when making a dual charger for a camera i have) but changing that speed controller had no change in the symptoms. Do you think there is a short somewhere in the system on full power or is it a hall sensor. Is it overheating and the bms cutting out? There are two controllers in the scooter with a communication wire between them, could one of the controllers be off. Both motors shut off when this happens. What tests should i run to see where the problem is? I have opened up the scooter before because I silicone sealed everything to protect from water. but actually moved to NM where there is little rain and I do not ride it in mud or water anyway. Any help appreciated.

I have power to those wires to the black and green wire nothing to the red wire. I got this in a trade and I’m trying to find out whether it’s any count whether it’s worth me replacing that switch or not. I’m only going to sell it when I get it going anyway I’m a little bit older of the guy and I don’t particularly live anywhere. I can really ride it I’m out in the country in the mountains do you know of a way that I can get power to the controller with the trigger. ? Thanks for the video, I am wanting to do a dual headlight, add turn signals. Weighing my options on power consumption, I rather not have all these wireless devices and have to charge separately. I was wondering, did you happen to measure the voltage on connector that powers each controller? No the voltage is not split. It's the same. Where it drops voltage on different components is with the buck converters to your lights. And i agree with the direct wire instead of charging things separately bc it always seems like i am charging something separately from the scooter.

Since it doesn't seem to affect the operation then maybe you don't need to worry about it but i definitely would look closer and inspect everything just in case. Check where the handle bars connect at the base to make sure there isn't any loose screws. They are notorious foe backing out on there own. Also the clicking might be from the front suspension. They are sometimes very noisy. Its a sucky design. Also check your brake rotors and make sure they are not warped. I would put the scooter up on a stand and run it to see if i could identify where the clicking is coming from just to be sure everything is safe.

@@mannyindio3569 ok it could just be your buck converter. You have to remove the heat shrink and check incoming voltage and out going. If no incoming voltage is present then we need to move upstream and keep working your way up. Incoming voltage to the buck converter should be 52v and out going probably 6v. If you have no incoming voltage then it could be your speed controller but will not know until you verify voltage to the buck converter and make sure no other wires were shorted. On a side note be careful adding LEDs until you know what voltage and amperage you have and where you are going to connect the new lights.

@@wattsinyours ok. Is the buck converter what you saying the same thing as the speed controller (the two silver metal boxes inside the scooter)? Sorry but I don't have much knowledge on this. How do I check the incoming voltage? Do I check the wire coming from the battery to the speed controller and to check for low voltage be any wire coming out from the speed controller.

@@mannyindio3569 the buck converter or the dc to dc converter is a little rectangular circuit board that reduces the 58v down to probably 6v for you back lights. The speed controller is the big metal silver boxes. You will have to get a meter and start checking the dc voltage in and out of the buck converter. Also check out my video on the led lighting upgrade. That will show you how to add led lights to your scooter the proper way.

You can get new samsung batteries that will fit right it there perfectly. Go to either alibaba or aliexpress and look up flj electric scooters they sell batteries that are plug and play. Takes a liitle bit of searching but if you go directly through there site through those apps you will find it. Good to here from you and good luck. Let me know if i can help more.

@@SurRon-GLE i found your battery. You have to go to the flj offical store, then find there 52v battery, look at item descriptions and you will see generic Chinese battery, lg and panasonic batteries. I looked at the size and they will fit right into your scooter and they are plug and play. No modifications need to be made. They also offer bigger amp hour sizes which i would upgrade to. Their prices go anywhere from 300 to a little over 500 for the better ones. I got the best one they sold to put into my rs7. Panasonic 42ah battery. It cost about 1000.00 but was worth it.
