Both Parents and brother's actions are terrible. Why should they support the golden spoiled child be the only one supported. OP made her path and way!

I think it was 👌 how she exposed her 👩 and 👨 publicly cause they deserve it for how they treated her in the past cause that was disgraceful.

I listened to the exact same story yesterday except the put upon hero was male who went to live with an uncle after the family used his collage fund for his litter sister’s wedding, right down to the “big money investor” that the parents needed for their business, so introduced the son as proud parents, who at that moment told his secret to the investor blah blah blah…..same story different hero

You can succeed *despite* familial interference!! Go with your gut, and to HELL with the background noise!!

Boo hoo. So he didn't get into the college of his choice. Big whoop. Life is full of disappointments. Either learn to accept it and move on, stronger for the experience, or just go bury yourself in a hole where no one has to deal with you.
