Definitely more fun than driving a Prius or a minivan. Plus people treat ya differently driving a rowdy old beater truck. Folks tend to get out of the way. I drove my wife's minivan, got no respect on the road. Totally different experience. Everytime I drive one of my hotrods down the street, I feel like I'm doing something wrong. Can't play with your phone driving shit like this. Takes full concentration. I love the shit tho, can't wait to get a 750hp bigblock in the C-10. Still gonna leave the Truck ugly tho. I'd like to get it running 9s in the 1/4 NA with a single Dominator on a 496ci bigblock. That's the plan. After that I have the shit to build a twin turbo bigblock for it. Gonna have to upgrade alot of parts for that unit tho. Should make 1400+hp. Lots of plans for this old truck. Already has alot of work done to it.

Gotta love those pull open floor vents &the vent windows in the your square body Sam ! Real cool truck nice mods, old school and easy to work on. I have an 88 GMC.

It serves its purpose well. Id hate to make it show quality, then I wouldn't want to use it as a truck. It pretty much just gets used to haul parts and pull a trailer. Might restore it one day.

I like the way you utilized the stock locations for the gauges and Scottsdale dash nice touch too.. This one one survived relatively quite well. Sounds mean. Sounded nice on the road in the Walmart vid also.

Gotta dump a few grand into a T-400 also. I want it capable of holding 1500hp.

Yep, I tow a trailer with it. Also have a B/W Super T-10 and a T-400 auto for it. Getting a bigblock swapped into it and going T-400 for that. Hate to put a automatic in it, but the bigblock will destroy shit.

There very strong I have only seen one blow up and it made bearing noise for a long time first that was in a 4x4 with super swampers that got rev and dumped thousands of times. There great for pulling with bulldog low and reverse. They suck for racing huge gaps between gears. But there great for what they were designed for even with a 250 6cyl in front of one they will get the load rolling with little clutch.

​@@wildrosegarage4208When I first acquired this truck, I was going to build it for Superstock 2wd truck pulling. Was planning on using this transmission for that. But I decided to build a street machine shop truck with it instead. Still want to build a puller, but I'd rather use something from the late 50s early 60s. Messed with a SBC Mini Rod pull tractor years ago, that was pretty entertaining. Matt Hutchison with the "Makin Bacon" unlimited class 9200lb pull tractor was a friend of mine. They also had a 4wd Pro Stock 72 Chevy pickup. Ain't seen them ole boys in decades tho. Always liked the Truck & Tractor pulls. Shits pretty popular were I live.

@@thereluctantgearhead4544 that's cool around my parts they just have antique tractor pulls I went a few time liked it so I bought a 48 oliver 77 gas tractor. The pulls your into are awesome I use to watch a show 35years ago as a kid called monster truck and tractor power. They had some bad ass motors.
