Every car guy's heart grew 10x when Mere said "Are you gonna make it pretty and give it to me? I think it's cool!" MATT FIX IT UP EXACTLY HOW MERE WANTS!!

My vote, Mares car! Get it perfect and not insane powered but looking perfect with a good engine with whatever amount of power suits HER and make it her run around come maybe show car. It's unique and apart from things like those windows being useless and needing a fair bit of finessing it COULD look fantastic.

DUDE! FIRST time we've seen Meredith show any interest or exitement with a car project! Actual appreciation with a genuine smile! That girl has put up with all your crazy BS (not meant in a negative connotation) and taken it all in stride. I know those crazy antics have provided a lot of opportunity for the both of you, but still, compared to many, you get away with murder! You should show your appreciation to her by having Brandon fix that "Ranchstang" up "cherry", leaving the 289 in it and adding some AC, and give it to her. I know I would! She looks great in it and it even fits her like a glove! You know its the right thing to do! Then maybe later if she gets tired of it... In the mean time, if you need another Mustang for a burn out car, go find ya a 71-73 "long nose" designed from factory to fit a 429/460 big block (all the room you need for the diesel conversion), and use that instead.

I vote that it gets sent to Muscle Rod Shop and "properly" rebuilt so that it can be Mere's car.

I don't know what's more hilarious - watching Brandon get into the Ranch-Tang, or watching Meredith fall in love with the Ranch-Tang? LOL!

All the mud on the passenger side makes me think this thing was built out of a wrecked car. Whoever originally built it definitely put time into it but there's no hiding all the Bondo.

It would be easier to find another chop car than it would be to find one that evokes a genuine and impulsive reaction like that from Mere. 10 years from now, you won't remember the car you chopped up, but she will remember the time you made her a dream car, Matt. Don't pass on this opportunity.

1) I love the shaved look 2) You and Brandon in the same video is too much magic. 3) Mere is a gem.

My suggestion Matt, since Mere likes it, have the body fixed up right, and finish the interior, and just give it to her. YOU have a bunch of toys, why not give HER one of her own?

A wise man (husband) would take this rare occurrence of his wife's interest in one of his carzy projects, and actually turn this one into a solid daily driver blinged out and given to his wife. Happy wife happy life!

Brandon is an absolute natural on camera. It usually takes awhile for people to get used to it, but I love the relationship Matt and Brandon have.

The burnout build with a 6.0 power stroke could be really cool. I wonder if he'll let Brandon fix all the sheet metal nightmares. I hope he can keep it off the walls and keep the bed from getting trashed when tires pop. The way Cleetus burnout comp's go is not good for keeping cars in decent shape.

The amount of love 'the MareStang' needs is one to two years of pampering in Brandon's shop, let's get 'er done!

Her reaction to Brandon was priceless. He was all like, "Wait, what?". I genuinely laughed out loud at that. I love the bromance you and Brandon have started since this whole Demo Cuda thing. He is such a natural in front of the camera and I wish him all the success on his KZread channel.

At first I thought it was a Flacon based Ranchero grafted to a Mustang but it was definitely a Mustang to start with. Yes, early Mustangs could have been equipped with a bench seat.

That needs the full Brandon treatment to Mere’s specifications of course. This should definitely be the next car build series. Looks like Matt needs to go back to the drawing board for his burnout car.

I would like to see the vehicle brought to pristine condition, the custom job done properly. It may not be original but it is unique. The Ranchero was sold in Australia as a 1963 XL Falcon Utility. In Australia they only came with the six cylinder motor.

Matt, thanks for taking one for the Demo team, and never complain that shaving your beard makes you look younger - you will appreciate it later (speaking from experience)! You should have Mere involved with the build of that frankenmobile. Look at what she’s done to that little tiny house on the hill with the admittedly nice view. She probably will have some great ideas for Demo-tang. I can’t believe she walked up and liked it! 😂 Talk about a twist to the story I didn’t expect! You guys had me laughing through this whole video!

Mustangs across America are weeping over this thing. Poor GT350...... On a side note I can't wait to see what you do with it!

I had a 68 GT 350 that was a great car for so many reasons. I also had a 69 fast back mustang before the Shelby and loved it too. If Ford made these styled like this they would sell a ton of them. My favorite pickup that I had was a 4x4 Chevy Luv which was a tiny pickup. Your car/truck is the best of both worlds. Classic car and mini pickup. Even that orange and white paint scheme is a classic. I had the 350 Colbra Jet engine and the automatic tranny. Shelby used a smaller diameter tork converter so it would rev up faster. At 55mph I could punch it down and still get rubber which ain't too shabby for a car with an automatic. That would be a great setup for your wife too.

I love how Mere is just rolling around the parking lot at work with a White Claw.

I could watch a straight hour of Matt’s intros. They never get old lol.
