Minimalistic home gym is key! the only thing I have at home is 2 pair of dumbbells, 1 barbell, 1 deadlift barbell, 3 kettlebells, 2 squat racks, 1 smith machine, 1 preacher curl machine, and only one deadlift platform. thats it mate

Not sure how you manage with that to be honest. The only exercise I can think of is some upside down hanging crunches with the bar on the squat rack.

Nice
I'm surprised with some of the negative reviews. I was so impressed with the kzread.infoUgkxMwYg0MOXR4M-oGeyBsNSYe1aPOUoRH6D cage that I got the lat pulldown attachment that goes with it. It is equally outstanding. I don't have one complaint other than putting it together is a job. The instructions and packaging of the parts are very well designed and organized. Also, I stripped and damaged the pull down cable the first day, admitting it was my stupid fault, and they quickly replaced it at no charge. I'm 6'5, 280lbs and fit in the cage just fine. Glenn B
Joe have you considered gymnastic rings? Small piece of equipment that fits into any backpack, able to do all of those exercises you mentioned + added benefit of training stability and a whole new style of cool training

It’s not about what you have, it’s how you use it! If anything lockdown has made me more resourceful and creative with my training which has lead to greater progress 💪🏻 Obviously a gym is always superior but it’s all about working with what you have at your disposal
Came across your channel by chance yesterday and I have to say it’s amazing how much I’m watching your content. I’m from Liverpool myself, I’m a fat 16st but your food recipes are going to truly help me when I’m in the truck. As I’m usually eating fast food. Just started the gym and it’s odd that watching other channels doesn’t always give me the insensitive, but your doing something right to hook me in. Hopefully when all this Covid-19 over I’ll get out to the gym.😷👍🏻💪🏼🏆💯
Ahh yes. Been waiting all week for a new Joey D video. This makes me feel so much better about my home gym🤣
Solid workout plan m8, I really like the way it’s structured. I’m definitely giving this a go as it’s way more organised than what I’m doing at the moment. Long live Joey D haha
Really great video! It’s so challenging coming up with ways to use minimal home gym kit. I shall certainly be trying some of these out. Thanks!
Crazy what all you can do with such limited resources... way to stay creative! It’d be easy to make excuses about missing lifts since gyms are closed, so it’s cool to see what all can be done with simple equipment :) Very motivating! Thanks for the video 😎
Stoked to see the home / home gym! great content as always man.
This is very helpful, as I recently ordered an adjustable bench and 3 sets of dumbbells.
when you do flies or curls you can hold a light dumb bell with the band to fill out the resistance curve and it works quite well
Another great Video man! Love your content. You literally inspired me to start making videos. Nice setup!
*just get your girlfriend to sit on the bench or hold your band* - cries in single life
Very insightful and usual Joe mate. Enjoy that! Given me some ideas for tomoz 💪🏻
Didn't expect it, but you showed a few things I have not yet thought of/seen before. Thank you!
The view from your apartment is amazing! Congrats!
Awesome video, the hamstring curls gave me some good ideas for my home workouts during corona-times
I was just going through your old vids, missed your vibesss
Incredible what you have achieved with just basic equipment. Thanks for the motivation.
Awesome video legend. Keep up the great work!
Great video! lucky me the gym is open again but I wish you all the best of luck in your home training!
Fire setup bro. I got basically same setup, only difference is I have a pull-up/dip/push-up station in place of dip station and parallettes and weighted dip/pull-up belt instead of weighted vest, but same concept with light med heavy for dumbbells and all that, enjoyed this video, proves you don’t need much to hit everything
I absolutely love this

5:15 That girl's thinking: "why do I have to do this"
Brilliant stuff. I was quite lucky to already have had a decent amount of weights and an EZ bar to use them with, not to mention push up handles, before the Lockdown. I understand people who feel that home workouts arent the same, but Ive been loving what Ive been gettin on with since mid March. Ive a day for a body part like he gym, with my favourite tunes blasting out. It was fun improvising around and with the plates, and seeing that gyms here in Ireland arent opening till August- depending on how tings go - Im really happy cracking on with tings in my room. Even when gyms do open, I personally dont tink Id feel comfortable in them . Videos like this are extra motivation for me, so cheers man, for encouraging people to plow on.

I am the same mate - will see what the regulations are going to be like around gyms, but certainly won't just be wading in there as soon as they open without assessing it.
the only thing I have is 2 pull up bars, one 5 kg dumbell and one band. I use jugs and paint cans filled with water and sand for additional weight and backpacks. I managed to actually put on some size, and I'm currently cutting down so no excuses!!!
Amazing and good philosophy too. Nice pad in Manc aswell!
Mirin the resourcefulness. Stay shredded, King.
Thanks to the Coco I completely shifted into the kettlebell sport at home and I ain't going back. My resting heart rate dropped by like 30 bpm and my forearm strength grew to the point where I'm able to have a solid grip on my life in general. Plus them traps are liking it. All I have are 2x12, 2x16 and 2x20 bells.

Great vid pal. I know I won't be taking another gym session for granted.... Take it easy.
Congrats on 300k man
Impressive and you did a good job with the equipment you have at hand.
Sick video bro, people can do so much more with what they have than they think they can. Even if they have nothing, gotta get creative

Joey D the man for the people!!
This is similar to equipment I have. I can easily add more equipment, but I take pride in keeping equipment to a minimum. When you are dedicated to calisthenics, you don't need much.
I see so many people complaining that home workouts ain’t the same as working out at the gym. They just aren’t dedicated and find an excuse for not working out. I never once had a gym membership yet I workout daily at home or at the park. Calisthenics is my go to. I bought a weight vest. Rubberbanditz, a pull up bar, and some weights and my workouts always hit so good. I lost 60lbs total the first time around. I’m on my second time leaning out and I lost 20lbs so far. I got another 15lbs to go in order to be fully toned out.
Proper stuff mate
Joe D, a classic.
June, 4, 2023: Wow man!... so many good ideas with attainable equipment. We get lost in the "home gym thing", and forget it is about the movements with applied resistance, form and repetitions. I've basically had similar equipment for so long, but have kept adding equipment that has occuppied a whole room in my place. It's nice knowing to have the availability of different type of equipment, but this shows that is can be done without sacrificing bunch of space. Definetly going to be selling he redundant stuff that I have... I'm picturing myself in the middle of that room asking myself "WHY?"
A door anchor sure seems like it would get more out of those bands. A useful video with some unique ideas.
amazing man.
I loved this video m8 keep up the good work
Joe, do you know any programs of some sort where I can learn more muscles and their functions in terms of training?
Long life to King Delaney

Hey Joe! You should look into getting a single leg squat stand or maybe an aerobic step. That way you can do front foot elevated split squats. SPlit squat stand also makes split squats a lot harder but more comfortable

A.height adjustable flat bench for sealrows is amazing
Probably to late, but if you train at home and have some bands and weights, you can combine them in some exercises, for example do the deathlift met the 35kg dumbells and attach the resistance bands to them to make them harder.
Finally a nee video, it's been a week 💪
Sometimes I feel good about my workout for the day- and then I watch this dude and realize I suck.

@@NikA-wr6px Legs really took a hit. Thank god they were a strong body part pre covid. Weighted split squats (backpack with heavy ass med books), jump squats and calf raises. Should be doing them like 3 times a week to somewhat make up for the lack of intensity, but it's reeeally boring compared to actual gym workouts. I have a friend who actually made good gainz with pistol squats and other callisthenics style leg exercises, while doing them consistently, so i believe it can be done

Some exercise is better than no exercise. For that reason, I always have a resistance band in my bag when I travel...
Great vlog good advice
Nice setup dude. Have you thought about getting some gymnastic rings tho? They replace like half the stuff you have plus are just stupid fun to work with
Yo Joey D think you'll try gymnastic ring exercises when you get ya home gym setup?
powerful
I followed this video months ago and my setup is even cheaper. I have 2 folding chairs, adjustable dumbbells, resistance bands, mat. The key is those pullup bars that hang off a doorframe and also have multiple bars. You can recreate everything in this video with those 5 things
Have you tried gymnastic rings? You can get a really good upper body workout with those.
boss video.
i love you joey d
You could try L-sit pull ups on the dip station
Could you make a video on workout splits and how to make your own?
This is awesome, have you considered olympic dumbell bars? I guess getting the weights for them would be hard but seems a good way to more weight than you can lift without taking up too much space and having to keep buying dumbells.
Damn it Joe, I was just about to start studying - Guess I'll postpone it another 10 min..
Just casually doing hand stand pushups. 👏👏
Great help as always Joe! This is a really good video with helpful advice! Your videos influence a lot of my own!
