The build is gonna be sick that box is badassed . I like skar I just got my 2 zvx18s in a flat wall playing and good lord they are intense . I can't breathe sometimes .I swear they knock the wind outta my chest. It blows hair and floats bags .my only complaint is it's not windy enough lol but skar zvxs in my opinion are worth the money 100%

Congratulations and wish you well on the start of your new build! To the best of my knowledge, a 4th order doesn't have 2 tunings. A high tuning for the ported side and the lows is simply produced by the sealed side. With that being said, 55ish is super high and already not geared towards slowed, rebass, r&b, rap, or hip hop if I'm correct. Please share with me for a learning experience if you disagree with a brief explanation when you say 28hz on the low and 55 to 58hz on the high. The other thing is for a build that's extreme (4/15s). Why did you decide to get your enclosure built without knowing exactly the subs you're running or the power you're running on the subs? I could be wrong but, aren't the specs what really dictates the best enclosure for the subs to be in the most favorable environment? Also the SD isn't the same for all subs I the same size class. Meaning the hole cut out could be too small or too big. Which also brings me.to ask if whether or not you plan on inverting your subs? If you do invert shouldn't that lip that actually catches the mount screws be rounded to lessen or prohibit the surround from rubbing? And if you're not inverting do you think heat will pose as a factor in the sealed side due to so much power youre planning on running? Just from my experience with enclosure designing you tend to want to know as much information as possible including power being ran in an effort to minimize box rise. I also noticed you didn't have any bracing or 45s inside the enclosure. Do you plan on adding this yourself or just doing without? Anyway BASS ON bro. I'll be following you and look forward to swapping demos one day.

For less than the price of the Skar ZVX's I would MUCH rather run four CAB Ultra 15's from Audio Apex. The quality difference is night and day and you would be supporting a company that actually designs and builds their subs, not one that simply steals the designs of another company's products, then rebrands them. They're located in Newton, NC in the same building as Sundown Audio.

Good video. That's gonna be a banger there. I am a big fan of kicker, pioneer, rocksfosgate,kenwood, and alpine. When its comes to subwoofers people are overlooking power acoustik, and qpower subwoofers. Honestly, i feel like they are harder then skar performance wise. I just got the Kenwood receiver and its be very confusing if u dont mind me asking whats your setup on the kenwood

Kinda off topic but I watch your vids, could you possibly make a video or comment what to do if you cannot get an high output alternator due to your car being brand new and there’s none out on the market to even get in. I called around pretty much everywhere within about 150mile radius(WA)searching for one but I just cannot find one I have a 2022 Kia k5. I ordered 2 skar vxf 15s for example.

@BassAddict91 for 15$ more bucks a sub your getting more BL motor force, 10in. Quad layer spider, dual flat weaved copper tinsel leads, taller narrower surround than zvx which usually leans toward more a punchier spl oriented surround and your enclosure specs should be somewhere in between ct's recommended guidelines for flat and spl response curves if it's to spec for zvx 15's at 4 cubes per sub so you should get the best of both worlds response curve wise.
