Plot hole: Seeing as Leviathan was absorbed by Clive, shouldn't that have meant that the vessel i.e. Mythos was complete, thus meaning that Clive survived the final battle with Ultima?

No, Ultima calls Clive an incomplete vessel because he does not believe Clive can reach the same level of power as him. It's not about how many Eikons Clive has, but rather the power level. And Ultima is wrong anyway, because in the end, Clive actually has the power to cast that big magic. Leviathan's power does not actually change anything here.

I’m glad we’re out of those drab skies in the late game. Seeing this environment under a crisp blue sky is so refreshing 😭

I wanna rate the DLC 8 out of that and the Music on this DLC is just 1000/100 🎉❤ leviathan phase 3 music 🎶 is 🐉🌊🔥🔥🔥🔥

Gonna post it here as i know some people may have missed it. There is a second eikon unlock after leviathan through a side activity requiring finishing the dlc.

really good DLC and I do have to say the last boss definitely made me rage mostly cause I was playing on Final Fantasy mode and I am just about done with everything I have a few items to get and 4 trophies to get and then I am done and I wouldn't go much higher then an 8 I'd put this DLC at a 8.5 out of 10 mostly from how challenging it was in FFM and the great music

I beat the rising tide dlc and it was fun and interesting I like the new eikon ability for leviathan and I will rate the dlc a 8/10

Yes, i beat it on ff mode

I’ve played some Final Fantasy mode, but I chose to wait on it until after the DLC I want to get everything I can in the normal game before I move forward to a full playroom new game plus FF mode currently I’m more interested in what’s the new items new weapons accessories new builds

This dlc gonna be the last one ?

The dlc was... ok in my opinion. And I say that as a die hard ff16 fan. The content of the main story itself was fine, but the fact it has zero outcome on the ending of the game feels silly and makes the whole thing feel a bit pointless. And a side note, the "troubled waters" phase of the leviathan fight was so ridiculous that it became unfun. Overall, 7/10 but definitely felt super underwhelming

Spoilers between the two new Eikon abilities: Leviathan or Ultima's which do you prefer? Definitely Ultima's for me they were awesome. I played this on Final Fantasy Mode. Currently on Kairos gate trying to get the S Ranks and that shit is ridiculously hard.

Combing Ultima and Garuda’s feats and you get a tech that essentially allows you to fly for a very long time (almost indefinitely if you chain eikonic skills) during battles. Against elite enemies it’s kinda unfair for them as they can do absolutely nothing while you soar the sky and spam your ultima’s magic attacks 😂🥲 it’s almost gamebreaking and I love it.

@@theyoungfamily8295 The ones you can do in mid-air and lock you in there are: All Ultima’s skills, Rime and Malia from Shiva, Abyssal tear from Leviathan, Wicked Wheel from Garuda’s, Ignition by Ifrit, Rift Slip by Odin (you gotta cancel an animation tho first) But most importantly: spamming Garuda’s feat against elites and bosses is the best in general, that is how I typically get up in the sky before triggering Ascension’s stance and holding jump. And I think that’s it but perhaps there are some more I missed. I usually use these to reset my flying period, then I switch to Ultima’s ascension and hold jump again to fly. At the beginning of this loop, while you’re on the ground I suggest you to activate Satellite cause combined with Ascension magic attacks is too much fun. You can also spam dodge or Square+X while in ascension stance but after a while you might fall if you don’t reset your timing through activating a skill in mid-air. Also, while you’re lock in the sky, you can switch to another Eikon to activate another skill and then go back to Ascension stance. With some practice it becomes second nature. I gotta say all of this is definitely easier if you change your controller layout to custom to begin with: Change the lock on to R3 and your jump on L1. It will take some time to get used to it, but this is the way in which you can hold L1 (flying) while spamming triangle mid-air in order to max stagger dmg.

The leviathan fight sucked. Everything else was fun

I agree it wasn't as interesting as the other eikon fights, Also i didnt understand in the story how they froze the levithan eikon in time to stop to flood and the child was also frozen in time, its siad in the story that the child was frozen when he was priming so if he was still priming how was levithan called and how are the 2 separated and frozen in time, usually the dominant primes and becomes the eikon but in the rising tide story they are some how separated.
