Plot hole: Seeing as Leviathan was absorbed by Clive, shouldn't that have meant that the vessel i.e. Mythos was complete, thus meaning that Clive survived the final battle with Ultima?

@slimpyslimpy I've just discovered that you get the Ultima Eikon, however, that still doesn't change the ending. Seems like a cop-out from Squarenix to be honest

to me the original ending was not changed even a bit is the only let down for me....not even a few secs of secret cutscene....

Same....I was pretty disappointed

If you finish Kairos Gate, you can craft Original Sin (750 attack and 750 stagger), which is the real strongest weapon in the game, definitely stronger than ultima weapon and omega weapon reforged.

I’ve Pre-Bought this DLC since Echoes of The Fallen came out. Once I’m done with MW3: Season 3, I’m jumping into The Rising Tide. 😉

yeah its a good expansion

The fact that SE didn’t even add an alternate ending for when after you obtain Leviathan and Ultima’s essence is really a let down and kinda makes them look ignorant and lazy. No excuse for that.

Why would you get an alternative ending. Why do you expect one. The story ends the way it was written to end. The dlc is all before the ending

Anyone that thinks FFXVI should have ended differently straight up just didn’t understand the story... it’s perfect and I’m glad they didn’t ruin it by changing anything. It may be a sad ending but it’s also beautiful. Clive, Joshua and even Dion had each earned a Hero’s death by fighting to deny the will of their God to create a world where people could live and die on their own terms. It’s because of their sacrifice that the world could ever know freedom from the blight of the crystals and what it means to truly be the source of one’s own fulfillment.

I hope someday, if this game comes out for pc, people will mod the **** out of it because it had so much potential but was overall boring and bland. It's so sad.

Side quests are still kinda meh

Any new weapons for clive or the same boring sword? You know like the guy who made dmc gave dante more than ONE weapon for combo strings? Is Eikon battle still a sony soyboy cutscene simulator? Aka interactive movie? Anything besides attack attack dodge dodge attack eikon ability for combat flow after 60 hrs ? Any way shape or form you can interact with other party members? Is there actual enemy variety now ? Or is it the same dragoon or fafnir boss over and over reskinned? Is clive still struggling to understand what FF16 is? Game of thrones rip off, revenge story, or FF classic god complex ? With none of the above points being any more than mediocre? Does sokens music sound EXACTLY like a rip of an FF14 expansion? Cause if not its still shit
