@@toppy83 Not unheard of in today's music. Most every album today gets run through Auto-tune! This is one of the reasons I keep going back to The Carpenters.... Karen had the voice of an angel, and didn't need any post-production help to "tweak" it.

I would add one more to this list: Rise Above This. Apparently it was written for the vocalist's brother, to lift him out of depression; sadly, his brother later died by suicide. Remains an awesome song! (And on a lighter note, first time I heard it I thought it was Nickelback!)

Seether is a South African band,was Saron Gas and changed their name when they moved to the US.

For me, top 3 evanescence songs are: Imaginary / Lacrymosa (Synthesis version) / Your Star So definitely give those a listen.

Lacrymosa!!! It’s my favourite Evanescence song. It’s the best rework of a Mozart song too.

The gritty quality to his voice is a perfect contrast to how clean and clear her voice is. It’s perfect.

Can't believe you've never heard this song. she's gorgeous in this video. Vocally and visually. Combined with Shaun Morgan voice man, it's awesome.

Heard this from another You Tuber, and I'm passing it on as much as I can. Evanescence are currently doing a concert, then a 2 week break, then another concert, then another break schedule. They've been doing this since May (and presumably continuing that routine) and Amy, and the band are using the breaks writing songs for a NEW album! We will (hopefully) see something in late 2019, or early 2020. Can't wait! Spread the good news.

Seether is one of my favorite concerts. Cant go wrong with any of their music.

Shaun's voice is so fucking powerful its crazy. Its like he was made for this genre

As what people were saying, the lead singer of Seether is in recovery now. For Seether i recommend Remedy or Same Damn Life, two completely different takes on the variety of sound that band has. Seether is definitely one of my favorites.

Still one of my fav songs! My go to heart break song! Amy’s amazing!

So many great Seether songs. So many hit songs. Their last show I saw. Every song they played was a radio played song. Such great band and diverse. this is a remake of a softer version that Seether did on one of their albums. i think Amy actually produced & did orchestral arrangements for this version (when they were together, obvs) but i also read somewhere, that Broken was actually written by Shaun for his daughter, & how he feels when he needs to leave her, to tour
