Amy Lee can harmonize with a vacuum cleaner, but when you give her someone as powerful as Lizzy....you get one of the most beautiful songs ever made

While I agree Amy's part is small in this, and her vocals are amazing, how this came about points out why it's not a bigger part. According to several interviews with Lzzy Hale, in 2012 while on tour together, Halestorm would perform this song live. Amy Lee went to Lzzy and asked if she could join them on stage and sing harmony. Lzzy said she'd be happy to let Amy sing lead, but Amy said she simply really liked the song, and would love to sing harmonies. They performed the song as a duet for the rest of the tour. Recently when re-recording and mixing some tracks for Halestorm's Reimagined EP, they formalized this with a studio recording. Unlike many songs, however, when Amy and Lzzy showed up at the recording studio, they weren't set up to record their tracks individually and have them mixed later. Their producer had the studio set up with 2 mics about 6 feet apart, and just had the two go in and sing together like they had on stage, all the way through, no cuts. They did 6 takes, and used this, the 5th, as the final product.

That was phenomenal. In my opinion, Amy Lee has the most beautiful voice I have ever heard.

They're also currently doing a tour together. I just watched a video from their performance yesterday where they sang Linkin Park's "Heavy" in honor of the late Chester.

Their voices Individually is so incredibly beautiful, But together they are absolutely amazing. This song had me in tears. I hope they do another song together, better yet a whole album together. That would be amazing.

You're not the only 1 who cried when hearing this song and even tho this is my 100th time listening to it it still makes me teary cause of how beautiful it is and it makes me feel like this to my significant other that I've been dating for almost nearly 10 years together we just aren't ready yet for marriage but with all the years we've been through together we still love each other no matter what

Went to the Camden show, Lilleth Czar wasn't bad either. Great show.

I don't know that there have ever been two vocalists that sounded better together, especially in the rock genre. Absolutely breathtaking duet!

WOW!!! As someone who found and tragically lost his soulmate and love of his life at a very young age, this song is a true tearjerker, in a good way!

I have seen a lot of different bands and musicians in rock and metal and I consider myself blessed to have seen both Evanesence and halestorm. These two together is a gift to mankind! It's so freaking beautiful! We seriously aren't worthy!

I used to go to kareoke alot years ago and i would get compliments all the time and people would say that. Amy and Lzzy did this song while in quarantine, they were both in their respective studios and remotely connected to do the duet. In that version Amy joins in from the first verse. You can find it on "The Evanescence Channel" I think that that version is even better than the studio version. Check it out.

Halestorm and Evanescence are going to be here in Phoenix on Nov 15. I am so excited for this concert... It's going to be so good.

@@JHolder1422 Yeah too bad you missed them. They just dropped their debut album couple weeks ago. I Highly suggest checking out the live vids on here as well as the whole album. Not a bad song on there. Moriah Formica the singer was on the voice a few years ago and has a ton of covers and originals on her YT channel.

Just saw Halestorm and Evanescence last week in Los Angeles! Both bands were beyond incredible! Third time seeing Halestorm and first time seeing Evanescence.
