Can we PLEASE be over Amy Lee ....yes i know she is a good singer in a great band....there are BILLIONS & BILLIONS of other bands out there ......you have yet to to any Epica or do the Fleetwood Mac Verson. I use to watch Lost in Vegas (got boring) but switched over to you Alex but this is getting boring with the same bands......branch out do other things. I know all you people out there will probably flame me but Alex you need to break this redundant cycle.

I'm a Metalhead and I love Fleetwood Mac. I also love Evanescence. Amy Lee has the most beautiful voice I've ever heard. And she's beautiful.

Back in the early aughts, Amy and Ben lived in Little Rock, Arkansas. There was this bar I used to go to often called Jaunita's. Amy would randomly show up on a weeknight and perform. It was ridiculous experiencing her in such an intimate environment.

If you didn’t know, the flaming drum kit at the end represents the incident at Knotfest from last year. The crowd stormed the stage in Mexico and trashed a bunch of their gear, and video footage showed Will’s (the drummer) drum kit up in flames. So they decided to pay tribute to it by including a burning kit in the video... pretty classy and awesome of them.

Evanescence - Never Go Back I saw them live on their european tour they did with an orchestra a few years ago and this song was just magnificent

I'm always excited when you post any Evanescence reaction. They're my absolute favorite band, and I love how much you're into them! You should definitely react to either Imperfection or Hi-Lo next. Both are from Synthesis, and I think you'll love them!!

Here's two more righteous female fronted bands. You should check out Tonight Alive, and Orianthi (her name, and the band's name) both bands are from Australia. Orianthi does lead vocals AND lead guitar! Both Jen MacDougal, and Orianthi are songwriters. Also look up Orianthi jamming with Steve Vai, with Santana, with Richie Samborni and with Joe Satriani. She has also worked with Michael Jackson, and also Alice Cooper. She just SHREDS her guitar! :-D 😅 👍

LOVE these reactions man! Youve got a mad ass channel! Also, Amy is currently working on the new Evanescence album, which will be released later this year. The third track has just been recorded and I seriously can't wait to hear what they do with it! After losing her brother pretty recently, I am expecting some really emotional stuff. I saw them live 2 years ago now and have been a MASSIVE fan for the past 17 years. Growing up in foster care and going through a really rough life, this band has continuously pulled me through some really dark shit (like, most recently, the death of my parents, aunt, and grandmother). Amy is an absolute goddess, her music articulates perfectly every spectrum of emotion. She speaks from personal experiences and she is one of the most relatable and genuine artists of our time. Thanks for these reactions though man. It is so awesome seeing other people connecting to the band and songs that have meant so much to me in the past. When you get the chance you should check out Amy's solo music and covers also. The band also has some more amazing older music also ;) Hope you're doing well!

@9600GTMAN There was nothing on The Open Door written by Ben Moody. He wouldn't have had the talent. If he's so good what has he done since leaving Amy that anyone great a Rat's butt about? Nothing. He talent was writing very few simple guitar parts. And yes they were simple because he wasn't a very good player so they had to be simple to play.

I grew up listening to Fleetwood Mac and love them.i will get a lot of hate for saying this.Amy Lee vision to so much better and they really made this song there own.she bought more of a attitude to it.Evanescence is very underrated and don’t get the respect they much deserve

They were supposed to play this song live for the first time at Knotfest Mexico in December. The barricade broke, Slipknot and Ev had to cancel their sets, and there were riots. Some idiots burned Ev's gear (including Will's drums). That's why there was a flaming drum kit at the end of the video. In a recent interview, Corey Taylor said that they paid for Ev's destroyed gear (because he's amazing). Ev is supposed to play right before Slipknot at Sonic Temple festival in Ohio in May. I will be there. I can't wait! Love both bands!

I adore Evanescence. This is a fantastic cover. The original however will always be my favourite.

I prefer the original one just because I listen to it so many times 😊

@@ilovebabyyoda712 Well sure, he's done all of those, I was just saying that Sweet Sacrifice wasn't the ONLY one left for him to do, there is still Imperfection, Lost In Paradise, Hi-Lo (with Lindsey Stirling) and Good Enough. He should/could also do Amy's solo work as Amy's voice is the highlight of ANY of the songs she's done. I happen to think that Good Enough should be rated right up alongside My Immortal, as one of Amy's best. BTW If you're interested in watching an excellent lyric video of Hello, I urge you to look up Hello by thatvideomakingkid. He doesn't have just the lyrics, there is a photo show running in the background that is really spot on for the way it illustrates the words in the song. I could only wish that Alex might consider reacting to that particular lyric video because even though it's a lyric video, there is still all the photos doing a good job telling a story for the song. And, IMO Amy is hands down the best female vocalist in rock. There just isn't really any other vocalist that does what she does. :-D 😅 👍 ❤Amy❤ And Evanescence is also my very most favorite band.

Agreed … While I love Fleetwood Mac I couldn't get into this version. The simplicity of the original is what makes it great. If they would of stripped it down a little more I might have enjoyed it (much like Disturbed did with Sound of Silence). Just my opinion ...

When I was younger, I used to not like Fleetwood Mac, this song in particular. I really didn't have a reason for not liking it, I just didn't like it. As I've gotten older, I find myself enjoying and appreciating a LOT of the bands and music I (for whatever reason) didn't give a chance. About a year ago, I re-listened to "The Chain" by FM and it just hit so hard. I had some bass reflex headphones on so I felt the drums, I felt the guitar, and that bass line? Fughetaboudit! While it is not quite better than the original, Amy and Evanescence really captured lightning in a bottle with this cover. Her powerful vox just come out of the gate swinging and the band as whole added a new age flavor to a timeless classic kinda like Hendrix did to "All Along The Watchtower" by Bob Dylan. I applaud this group for their addition to the rock/metal genre and I also appreciate the fact that you watched the original BEFORE the cover. #HaDAD #SubscribeMF #QuillFuckedTheUniverse

@@twiztidmomma22 I tend to agree. Growing up, my mom was a big FM fan so that's where I was "forced" to listen to it so often. She would always say, "her voice is so unique, no one sounds like that" and I'd always say, "No one WANTS to sound like that". This particular song does a better job of hiding her graininess but yeah, it is kinda like nails on a chalkboard.
