Gods its been so long since I've heard this song. If you like this you should listen too their song Break In. It's one of their ABSOLUTE best. The most impressive thing about halestorm is lzzy hales ability too sing. How she can do something well suited too a massive mosh pit or something for lighters raised under the stars and heavy feels

Halestorm is my favorite female vocalist rock band. We've seen them in concert once and they are just as awesome in concert. Her voice is incredible and they put on a tremendous show. Also I love your hat. I need one.

Lzzy hale is one of the best singers ever. Love her voice , very Joplin like.

You have to see the live version of this from Jimmy Fallon. Incredible.

The main cast members, the people you see credited at the end are the entire ban. Lzzy is the deceased women and front women of the band. Josh Smith is the dick head who killed her, also the bassist. Joe Hottinger is the main detective and main guitarist for the band. Arejay Hale is the Coroner, the band's drummer.

I so often wonder why people overthink the meanings of so many of these songs. You were on the rght track from the start. People have to realize that what they see in a video may not be a literal translation of the lyrics. I think this was brilliantly comceived, and the band did a great job of playing the cast. The video is a metaphor for a toxic. The second verse tells you all you need to know. 0I tell myself that your no good for me. I wish you well, but desire never leaves.” (Now here is the lyric that, I think makes this clear and explains why many people stay in these types of relationships, despite the pain they cause.). The lyric is, “I could fight this till the end, but, maybe, I don’t wanna win.” Now why wouldn’t you want to win, and what constitutes winning in this case. Well, you have to be a little lacking in self esteem, and then.fall in love with someone who mistreats you because they know they can ( And I’m not just talking about physically, but mentally and emotionally as well.). When you get into a relationship like this, your self esteem helps convince you that ending the relationship will burt worse than facing what you go through on a daily basis. It isn’t true, of course, and ofhers see that but you don’t. You don’t want t win, because you don’t thing you could survive without this person, even though you take the poison they feed gou daily. I lived this and I can tell you, she is dead on here. What you are doing may make sense to others but you see no right answer for yourself. No matter how bad things get ending the relationship would be death for you. So you keep taking the poison.

In This Moment: "Into the Light" will make you cry. Absolutely. It is so beautiful. You need to see it, Alex. Maria Brink can do so much with her voice and you would be blown away by her range in terms of notes and also music styles.

This would be a great song for the theme of James Bond.

I have seen Halestorm 3 times in the last 5 years in London. Each time, they just don't disappoint. As a point of interest, Halestorm was the last ever band to support Black Sabbath with Dio before he, unfortunately, passed away. They got a last-minute call because the support band pulled out. Lzzy said that they were so honoured by it, that they would have performed for free.

Halestorm is such a great band, saw them when they opened for Shinedown a few years ago at the Carnival of Madness and it's easily one of my favorite concerts. I was so close I almost caught Lzzy's bracelet.

Halestorm was the band that got me into rock and metal. I recommend listening to Dear Daughter, one of their best songs, and to Freak Like Me. ALSO, on THIS FRIDAY MAY 22 there will be a live stream on WeAreHear with Lzzy and Corey at 1pm PT/3 pm CT.

I discovered Halestorm when they opened up for Theory of a deadman, in 2010. I bought this CD at the concert, and wore it out listening to it on my dope ass system in my truck!

I was introduced to Halestorm when I saw them support Shinedown, and it was this song, performed a cappella that really gripped me. Had enjoyed their set prior, but this just flipped something for me. Been a huge fan ever since

Seen them in concert several years back, they opened for Godsmack and Staind. Her vocals are absolutely legit. The scream she let out first thing she hit the stage still stands the hairs on my arms and neck.

There's no official video for Tourniquet, I sincerely doubt Alex would do a song that doesn't have a video to react to. There are only a few official videos that he HASN'T already reacted to, Sweet Sacrifice, Good Enough, and Hi-Lo with Lindsey Sterling. I think that's it, although I might be wrong, I do know there are those three, I don't think there could be more than four. So try requesting those songs, and there are some songs that Amy has done with Lzzy, including Break In, with Lzzy, that I believe that they just now did while in quarantine.

@@Evfollower i totally agree. Unfortunately I think it would be extremely unlikely for Alex to do a song that doesn't have an official video to react to. And, also unfortunately, Alex has reacted to almost all of Evanescence's official videos, other than the three I've listed in my other reply. And Hi-Lo isn't really an Evanescence video, it's actually a video with just Amy. I'm also aware that there are more videos with Amy, on her own, or with someone else. I'm positive Alex will eventually get around to Sweet Sacrifice, and Good Enough, and because Evanescence is all about Amy's vocals, he would also do any videos with just Amy in them (like Hi-Lo) Alex listed Evanescence as one of his favorite bands of 2019, so he IS planning to do more of them and Amy, as long as there is a video along with the song that he can react to. The thing to do is to do a little research for any official videos with Evanescence and/or Amy and recommend those songs, and then hope that he will do them. There are ALL KINDS of Evanescence songs that Alex should hear, but without a video to go along with them, I doubt that he would take the time away from other videos that DO have a official video to do any of them. Hopefully they will do a lot of videos for the new album. I've got my fingers crossed. 😅😄

There's an old video here of Halestorm performing this song on Jimmy Fallon. That live version might even be better than the official music video. I love how much Halestorm has progressed from this early work. Yes. Lzzy Hale was always an incredible singer, but their last two albums have been a leap forward in songwriting with more unique melodies and chord structure. I really love Killing Ourselves to Live. Again, there are some great live versions here on KZread.
