One of the things I love about Luciano Pavarotti is that he performed with many contemporary artists. His love of all music is obvious

And he managed to blend his own genre right into the contemporary pieces he was collaborating on. He was SUCH an AMAZING singer. I never cease to be floored at how WELL he blended WITH other artists - in a genre that you'd never think could work on a collab with contemporary pieces!

2 legendary titans at the top of their game. I try and make a point of watching this fairly regularly. It just makes the world feel a slightly better place. The appreciation that James Brown shows to Pavarotti during this performance is amazing. Even he realizes, that for all his talent and success, he's in the presence of greatness.

JB, I have only recently found your channel. Your reactions is what all music is about. Two things. First, I would like for you to attend a live classical performance. What large city do you live near. My husband is a retired classical bass player. I will ask him to look up the concert schedule, if there are any, and find one that he would recommend for you. We would pay your expenses for you and a guest. Music in the live is always enjoyed better with someone. You for sure do want your children to hear classical music. Live classical music brings your mind, soul, and body awake to a level that has to be understood to be appreciated. An Opera would be outstanding. You do not need to know the meaning of the words, just experience. My husband and I hear music at a totally different level, but we both love it. There is an opera scene in the movie with Morgan Freeman where he is in prison. The P.A. system plays an opera that all the prisoners hear it at the same time. You get to see each persons reaction to hearing it for the first time.......well, what can I say. The movie, Shawshank Redemption, is available free on KZread and is well worth the watch. Enjoyed talking to you and look forward to hearing from you. Blessings and Love from Jo Ann in Mississippi jsomers@bellsouth.net

I love your channel since you are listening to and discovering real music that I grew up with (76 years old). Bring back a lot of memories.
Pavarotti was so happy to collaborate with singers in different genres. My favourite is this one with the amazing, quiet, Tracy Chapman, and her own song "Baby Can I Hold You Tonight". kzread.info/dash/bejne/o4WY0M5pj6zbgso.html Exquisitely beautiful.
This is AMAZING 🤩 That you for sharing
Diametrically opposed voices : Pavarotti (opera) and JamesBrown (father of soul) And it works beautifully. Will never be duplicated. One for the books. LEGENDARY.
Amazing... fantastic.... Loved it! Say no more.
Whew! Chill bumps! Thanks!
JB, I knew you would love this performance. It's been a long time since I've seen this. God bless you, and both of our performers.
Love seeing you so happy :) Love this song.
I saw this on PBS way back... Man! It's SO Powerful.
2 legends in one room. Now that's singing! Singing with passion. MJ and Prince were both influenced by James Brown
Pavarotti just has that voice, wow. And James is still rocking it. But Pavarotti is just out of the park
I remember that performance. I love the mix of genres. Amazing!!!!!
POR DIOS...QUE MARAVILLA, QUE DOS VOCES...IMPRESIONANTE JAMES BROWN JAJAJAJA ME DEJASTE LLENA DE ENERGÍA Y ALEGRÍA...
Just a Fantastic Duo!🎵🎶🎼😍
So many 'reaction' channels out there...love your studio. Keep it real my friend.
Cooperation instead of competition. Pavarotti was a generous man and enjoyed giving James the spotlight.
i feel you bro.... hearing pavarotti and then the shout of James Brown
