don't stop doing videos, you´re genuine , im going through a similar process, didn't pay much attention to watches until last year, Ive been buying dozens (over 70) forming an interesting collection. very few expensive, most in the affordable. Plenty of homages of those imposible pieces . I'm 54 established business man in Mexico Im doing this with intention of eventually starting a jewelry & watch biz for one of my daughters seen many videos . I've seen a couple of your vids, found you looking for details onTissot Automatics III Day Date 316L, on of my latest purchases. That took me to see your collection. Im based in Mexico so my exit strategy is slightly different.

Loved the video! Great starting collection! Already learning from some early mistakes, and keeping the collection at a reasonable number of pieces. Also made the same mistakes, and just recently started to shrink my core collection to just 24 watches (can't do less than that!). But know I can say that I've got a well balanced collection. Happy New year!

Subscribed. I myself have recently become a watch lover and enthusiast. I currently have 5 in my collection. Recently was gifted a seiko SRPF03K1 for my birthday. Its big watch and wrist presence it has when you wear it can make you feel some what empowering. And yes Casio in your collection is a must, A168 in black face digital dial is my favourite. Anyway loved the content. Keep it up buddy.

Haha i was stoked when i saw the last watch! I have the same one (in black). It's a special one for me too, Been the only watch i've been wearing for 3 years. I took it off the factory bracelet and bought a few quick release straps, including a mesh strap. There isn't an outfit or situation that i can't make that go with. Feel like a million bucks wearing a nice swiss watch like that for $235. Great bargain collection, especially the orients.

Nice video. I’d suggest before leaping into the luxury plus £1k world you go for a Christopher Ward (check out their Jan sale!) - for around 500-600 in the sale you can get a watch that will totally change your perspective on what quality is. I own a c60 and it has equal quality to my other 2 watches (and Oris 65 and a Sinn 556a). I also lost interest in homages early in the hobby - but it was Steinhart that originally opened my eyes to quality, but I sold them to get a CW and never looked back.

I love your watch collection. You have some really practical, affordable but tasteful pieces. I really like affordable brands like Orient. Good job. I like that Tissot a lot also. By the way, if you are bored of the way your Amphibian looks because of the dial, try changing it out. Vostoc is very easy to mod and the dials are available to buy. The problem with Vostoc is that once you begin buying better watches you get bored with them. But they are Russian which makes them cool. They are conversation pieces.

I did mention it in one video at some point. After England made it through to the final of the Euros I went out with my friends. Had a few too many beers and woke up without the watch. I somehow dropped it in front of a church and it sat there for around 5 hours untill one of the church workers found it in the monring. They then posted it online trying to find the owner. It just so happened a friend of mine was browsing a certain page and found it for me. Such slim chances of all of this aligning. If anyone would of spotted it during those 5 hours other than the person who did, it would've been gone forever

I have Timex to Rolex dive watch collection. all 200 meters or more. having 8 different brands of watches, only one i have to say is overpriced, and that would be the Submariner. in 2023 their going from 8 to 10 grand, when they are only a 2000 dollar watch tops. I'm being generous with that 2 believe me. Seiko makes dive watches that will kill a Submariner. Hell, even Casio makes a dive watch that will take more than a Submariner will. lol. Rolex is like California, you're only paying for the name.
