You forgot one...Temporal Recruit, all reputations to T5, account wide rep project gear made at XII Ultra instead of XII Very, a massive bonus if you use rep gear - and what F2P build is complete without Lorca's console

For the 2,500 cloak kill reward on your Klingon Recruit. I Fought the Hurk. The swarms are plentiful and easy to kill and are considered frigates.

One thing about the delta missions is you need to do all of the kobali ground story missions. I made the mistake of skipping these as they were not listed in the episode window for delta rising arc. One thing Stu missed about the temporal recruit (and this is the most important reward of all) is that once you get a set of reps to t5 (think it's like the 6 oldest reps) you get a account wide bonus to all gear crafted from rep system from vary-rare mk12 to ultra-rare mk13. Sadly those bonus does not apply to rep store items, just the crafted ones.

You missed the best reward from the Temporal Recruit, Mk XIII UR Reputation Gear when you get to Tier 5 of all Reputations up to Temporal.

One major thing to note about the temporal recruits is that it's relatively easy to get the final probe rewards done...several of them are available on the galaxy at large episodes such as Nimbus that count for total probes found. Unfortunately, they didn't leave the extra rewards there. Also the free upgrade token is a character reward rather than an account one, meaning that if you are in desperate need of those, you can do multiple agents with the reward there. For Delta, you also have the bonus things from the Iconian tech along with story arc completion for the faction specific episodes. Romulan has an occasional bug that could pop up on you with some of the Romulan missions that have differences between your allied faction in flagging a completion...so you might need a 4th Romulan to get it fully unlocked. With Gamma, you missed the other big Admiralty reward for getting one to 15...the extra admiralty slot unlock for your entire account For KDF, the free ship does have one of the Kor Stealth Fighter consoles...big downside of the Withering Barrage trait is that the Kor from the KDF Elite Starter Bundle also has it (Though it has another of the consoles...and if you pay attention while leveling, you can complete the set for free with your ships from leveling which is a rather good set there). As a side note, if anyone is still working on the TFO's for the Klingon Recruit, the current event has Swarm which you need, and Iuppeter Iratus counts for the federation ones...all of the Terran TFO's rather than just the ones listed in the description of the endeavour count...unfortunately, I don't think Days of Doom counts towards the Romulan TFOs...

The Aegis set is excellent for new toons until they get decent rep gear. As its account locked. You can move it from toon to toon once they can use Mk XII. If you have the space. A base set and an upgraded set is a good idea.

Tbh I with the rAndD reward gave you a duty officer based on what you gain to level 10. Basicy gave you the duty officer that can give you omni beams or wide arc cannons

One thing on the Klingon T6...IIRC, doesn't it also come with an improved cloak, that lets you fire torpedos (but not beams) while cloaked, as well as lets you re-cloak quickly after uncloaking? Not in game at the moment to be able to check...

Yeah it does, I think it's the only free thing to get an Enhanced Battle Cloak. At least they give you a ship that's good at ambush kills, considering the number of them they're asking you for :P Also important to note that there are 2 experimental weapons that will fire through enhanced battle cloaks as well: The subspace depth charge and the gol-type psionic resonator. The resonator also gets great flanking bonuses.

Oh I have a cameo, sorry about that Stu.😉 Honest think the KDF recruitment has the best rewards especially for newer players with that free T6 that has a required trait for scatter volley builds and the great boost to endeavors via rewards giving perk points and the permanent XP boost.

Ambush kills! Go do the Azure Nebula Rescue. Which is available without cooldown right now due to the event. You can camp out behind where the Tholians appear on most asteroids. It's fun. I got a recruit in the original Klingon event....and I _STILL_ haven't got everything unlocked on it! It's like after that event they decided that was too much stuff and pared it down on the rest of them.

one thing i would say is there is a good space mission to farm LOTS of kills for the KDF arc recruit and thats in the hurq missions when you have to fight off the swarm (cant remember the name of the mission) but its a multitude of enemies and if you use that to farm the kills it adds up fast

I mean, there's an absolute swarm to fight in ANY mission with the Hur'q :P but possibly Scylla and Charybdis or Storm Clouds Gather? The ones where you're fighting them around DS9.

I do not know if they nerfed it but the KDF recruit my team melee kills never counted towards those kills and it was only my kills that counted which I just completed two weeks ago. For the KDF recruit as well for the ambush kills get the Terran Eagle. When you come out of the specific cloak that has it lasted the longest of any of my 72 ships I own for the ambush and recharged the quickest using a key bind for the cloak. I went from 500 ambush kills to 2500 in about 10 hours of patrols using that ship and my 30k DPS tetryon CSV build as the crystals counted during the ambush kills.

the experimental weapon on that also works with the enhanced battle cloak. The gol-type psionic resonator from the Cyclone Escort also does, though it doesn't say that anywhere.

I didnt see the rc temporal aegis dude when I did it and went to another character to get it, all I saw was the reputation stuff or was it salvage stuff

How do I unlock the temp op recruitment for the account wide? I play on Xbox. And the wiki says account wide. And my main has nearly everything done rep,specs.. but the ultra rare from rep development isn't showing up nore are the superior traits?? Any ideas?

In late, but go to the temporal agent for your faction. It's Philip Crey for federation and he's outside Adm. Quinn's office on ESD. For the KDF the guy's on your right as you enter the council chamber/great hall in First City. The Romulan one is on the flotilla in the large room with the massive windows out to space. Dominion characters go to the Fed or KDF person, depending on their faction liason choice.

New to sto, on console, you mention this is a event, how long does it run for ? Am guessin i wont be able to get my admiralty, reputation, marauder etc maxed before it ends ?, Would probably need months based on how its progressin so far. Which is understandable.

Do the (temporal) recruits get a free Service pack or anything to increase inventory slots? Or is the best thing to do to save 1000 zen to buy it for each character? I seem to remember they gave out a free one per character back in 2017 or 2018, but I don't know which event that was for or how often they do it.

No, they dont get a free pack, just the recruit rewards. Though if you're on PC, STO gives around elite service packs from time to times, especially around big update releases, usually through sites like alienware or steelseries, so keep an eye on those. I think the STO Reddit has a running thread on all of those free code giveaways.

Thank you STU for this video. Now, how much dil and marks and credits (total) do you get on your other characters if you have complete everything on 1 recruit (or 1 recruit of each recruitment event)? I'm thinking it must be an awesome way to collect reputation marks and then dil farm. What do you think?

I don't know, I didn't think to add it all up, and its going to depend on if you use the marks or not because each of those rep project will also reward dilithium. But it's certainly a good amount.

Ballparking. 2.75m EC, 35k Dil Ore, 42k Fleet only Dil, 12 elite marks. Several k Fleet marks. Markwise, you can basically skip TFOs for the most part. As the marks you get can almost get you to five in all reps. Loads of R&D stuff. Several traits and superior versions of some others. The KDF recruit ship and Batleth. The ground and space paradox corrector devices. Extra Admiralty slot. ALL REP GEAR GEAR CRAFTED IS ULTRA RARE MK XIII ACOUNTWIDE. Im sure Im missing somethings. Read the various recruit pages for the specifics.

Odd question, for Starfleet characters, does anyone know which loading screen/border graphics related to which era the character is from? I would want to replace my TOS character with the new temporal agent rep coming out, but can't recall which one it was >.>

Each faction has a unique loading screen. Most get an LCARS-like display, thats slight different depending on the faction, but the TOS toon loadscreen border looks like the viewscreen of the original Enterprise. These cannot between on individual toons because they are faction locked, much like transporter and scanning animations.

I have a problem with my current Delta Recruit. I finished the Delta Alliance story but it didn't give me the reward, it's still grayed-out. Even after replaying all the missions a second time.

I had this problem too, until I completed the story missions for the ground battlezone. That's what completed it for both my delta and temporal recruits.

The events won't be active at the same time as they are on PC, but yes, both platforms are set up to have the recruit event roll in and out throughout the year.

Sadly Critical Systems will probably forever stay at the basic level on my account because there are a few missions I just hate and refuse to run again when I make alt characters and some of them were rendered unplayable by bugs. Speaking of bugs, has anyone made a Disco character lately? I had a lot of trouble with mine. Crashes during the tutorial, unable to do the Delta missions, etc. Did they ever fix that? I'm guessing, no, because Cryptic.

I made one last week and had no issues getting through the tutorial. As far as Delta... yeah those missions can go pack sand. I skip them unless I have to (basically recruit rewards).

Only TOS Federation characters can be Temporal Recruits.
