If you do Rom, DO NOT just log out once you have the device. Finish the tutorial and get off the colony. If you don’t, yea you’ll have the device, but the tutorial will bug out and it’ll be a pain to actually complete it.

Number 3 - Did exactly that on my Temporal recruit who was Sci. Particle Manipulator is too important a trait on EPG characters. Bumped beams to 5, took the upgrade for Level 10 on Science, used the Research Dailies and 20 hour projects to get to 15. Still took like two or three weeks or some shit to get it, which is annoying. R&D weekends aren't enough, we need a permanent XP increase to R&D because that shit is glacial, even compared to DOFFing.

If you don't have a Rom main this is a good time to start one.

If you care about power more than anything else, the Roms are the best. Best overall space traits, better than even Jem'Hadar Vanguard BOFFs. Magnified even more if you had the Delta Rising pack's bridge officers. The Romulan BOFFs from that pack are awesome.

I didn't realise that a recruit for each faction got you more rewards. I was tempted to delete a Klingon and Romulan character to replace them until I remembered I haven't completed the full story arc on a single character, and quite a few of those have only made it out of the tutorial. There is no way I have the time or energy to run two extra Delta recruits through the story arcs just to get those extra rewards.

Be aware that if you delete a recruit. All the goodies you have earned for reclaim on other toons will no longer be available. For max goodies. You need a Delta Recruit for Fed, KDF and Romulan. A Fed temporal Recruit, A Jemhadar Gamma Recruit and a Klingon Recruit. What sucks is, you are not given a free character slot for recruit event reruns.

@@Yandarval I have one recruit of every type, but I had never even considered having more then one Delta recruit. If I was going to do it I would be deleting a normal Klingon or Romulan aligned characters to make new Delta recruits. Though as I said the time investment to do so, and losing two characters that whilst barely past the tutorial in the story arcs have maxed out research, admiralty, and reputations isn't that appealing.

@@Katarian80 Ouch. Maxed out toons would be a hard decision. Depending if you are willing spend a little money on the game. Buying two or more character slots may be an option instead of deleting. Two slots are 625 zen, as of this post. As the Dil Exchange is currently more or less working. Dil for Zen is a way to still stay free.

Always good to be reminded or learn initially these tips & tricks. Thanks for the good video.

Imperial rift set for me personally has been a real time save even though I got through the event, I would still recomend it when on sale in the Muds, I use it on everything when I start so for me has had the most amount of utility over just about anything else at start. Grinding now it takes me about 5 mins a toon to get the 8000 Dil, hand over contraband at the security officer and the R&D mission with the ferengi tour of duty and the dill starts to flow especialy when you have all the specialitys points done so that you get dill everytime for a getting a level up, having all the recruitment stuff really helps with a new toon getting going also.

I find the Rift set, and the Klingon armor and personal shield to be the go to for each new ship and character that I build. They are just too good, at least when starting out. The Rift Warp core is apparently even suitable for high DPS builds.

Having been around this game for a while, I take advantage of I think it was Number 7, for any new recruit, and get the gear that levels up with you, even those ships I have on other toons, the only thing on the ships is you don't gain full access to everything on that ship, BUT as you are leveling, more slots are opened up.

I've been grabbing cheap bonus pools for a few weeks now. Haven't logged in yet, so It'll be interesting to see how much they're going for today. I didn't know about the Romulan Temporal agent, either. Thanks for another helpful vid.

Lordy. Even for high end players,. Having to do everything in a month would he one hell of a slog. The real Endgame meta...finishing recruits.

the guides online tend to have the old all factions missions and half of them are not able to be done with a fed or KDF char as they were related to the old Romulan arcs that were linked to all factions then at some point they changed the fed and KDF mission lines to not include them and took them out of the required missions for all factions and thus they have moved the items to other missions

I see you gaffed off on the Klingon Recruit tasks. Same thing with me. It's extremely tedious.

You have to wait a little for the event reclaim to unlock, but if you have equipment in the dilithium reclaim section, you're able to claim it pretty much right away at the start of the tutorial.

I find it funny that I still learn new things after all these years. I had no idea about the Alpha, Beta, and Gamma fleet XP bonus.

Yeah I finally got the other two Delta recruits this time. I use the bonus marks to complete ones I'm short on. And yes, the competetive one gets the most of them.

I managed to do all tasks across 3 char very easily in a couple week except for 2 for the account wide rewards. Unlocking voyager Admiralty card - Getting to lv10 on the recruit's faction admiralty (Fed/Rom/KDF depending on char faction) if you dont have allot of c-store ships or pass tokens (spam tour of duty for xp) this its gonna take a while. The Dominion Domination KDF is the most annoying with how unclear it is in game. Similar to how with Kobali you need to do BattleZone missions. 1. Complete Cardassian Struggle 2. KDF needs to be Lv65 to unlock Lost dominion 2800 which also needs to be completed Bonus: If making EC is'nt your thing usually but going through storylines is easy enough. Specifically on the Fed recruit you can make 2.5 million just by doing the first story arc then store EC in account bank.

I have the Imperial Rift set from the event. I use it as my default for any new ship or character. Very good set, and it will upgrade all the way to very rare MK XIV, without need to use an upgrade, or dil.

Yeah the delete recruit character warning is a good one. I originally did one of each, but deleted all but one. For a long time the game remembered my progress on the deleted characters. Now the game thinks I've only completed on the Romulan I kept.

I learned the hard way not to delete a Delta Recruit, lost access to a bunch of rewards on new characters.

You only want to delete a Recruit if you have more than one of a type (Delta Fed, Delta Rom, Delta KDF, Temporal etc). Re-doing all the objectives takes so much time, it is easier and quicker to gain the rewards once hitting level 20+ on a standard recruit. Then you want to keep one of each type of recruit as mentioned in the video. Why would people have more than one type of recruit... if you create a character of a particular type during a recruitment event, they are always a recruit - you need to make sure you create the other characters outside of a recruitment event.

I am so kicking myself, for always forgetting to get and use the boosts for the marks.

The Rom Temp Ops guy has been missing since I started in 2017.

For the Record, when rolling a Romulan Character, you can't access your Account Bank, the Events Tab, or anything like that before reaching lvl 12. So PLEASE be prepared to play way past the 'Tutorial'.

I have a question.... lol. I play sto after a long time now. Created a steam acc... played for quie some time to decide if i enjoyed it again. Yep did, so i wanted to logg in with my old acc.... but i couldnt. I cant logg in... just with steam or this "new" arc account. HOW i am able to change name and password lol... arc account is bs.. i do not even know when i created this. So years of playing... are gone now ?

You have to finish the starter missions like the Kurt Klingon war or the Romney mystery or can you skip him and go on something else

With the new season, cryptic has now swapped it out. So you can't get it anymore.

Doing a Fed character is only one stroyline. It's completely a waste of time *unless* you have a large amount of alts to farm the meager rewards. if you only have a few and only plan to have a few, it's a complete waste of time for little reward. I would only usggest a fed Delta under two curumstances. 1) you have a large alt farm and 2) You have plans to make a Fed and already have a Temporal. as long as you are planning on making a standard age Fed you might as well wait for the Delta event, otherwise dont bother. It's not worth the effort.

I created a character during the klingon event. I didn't play throught while the event was on to get the receiver. does that mean I have missed out on the event bonus?

If you don't have the receiver in your inventory, then you can't unlock those rewards.

I'll mess around with it eventually, but given it looks to be a campaign based game, not sure what type of replayability it will have.
