Excellent content. This is the only video for this laptop I've found that doesn't skip over any of the small details involved in pulling out the motherboard, which gave me much more confidence as someone who is mildly comfortable with electronic repair, but has never pulled apart a laptop this much. This shows HOW to do every little part instead of fast-forwarding through large portions after giving some basic instructions. While this video is very long, you keet a very good pace with constant helpful tips; this didn't drag on in the slightest, and care was taken to ensure everything was shown as clearly as possible. Thank you!!

This was my first time ever disassembling hardware. I was worried I'd have to hand in my laptop for repairs and would be blocked from my work untill I got it back. Thanks to your amazing video I was able to fix the fan problem myself without any damage or problems. I will be forever grateful 🙏

@@ItsBinhRepaired Subbed and liked! And the fix was a success. There was a massive clump of dust on the vent when I opened the fan. Now it's fixed! No more whirring noise. Thank you for the video, excellent. Helped me upgrade the SSD with a second drive. The little rubber bumper at 50:49 goes just behind the battery connector as a bumper and holds the battery cable in place. Also, I had trouble getting the wireless card connectors on, so attached them before inserting the card in the MB slot, that helped. My red one was on the left too. Thank you!

Great tutorial, I did fix the noise one but was able to break the shaft of the red that I was doing since it was already open. I ordered 3 fans replacement from Amazon to try to get their small fan part only. Issue is the shaft might be inside since I couldn't find it. Very sad. Should have fixed the broken one only

Hey, I have a some bad news. I will preface though, you instructions were clear and concise. And as far as I know I followed each and every step lrecisely as you instructed. I took notes where my nails were in fact, and about antennas. And I dissassembled it and replaced my CPU fan with a new fan I bough of amazkn that is the same model number. Plugged everything back in and my laptop wont power on anymore. If I reset using the BIOS reset pin and hold the power button for 30 seconds (I am also unsure if the power button js working or not even though i connected the cable relevant to it properly), and then when i plug my charger in, the battery indicator will turn on and turn off immediately. That is the only sign of power the laptop has. I have tried; EC Resetting using the power button (30 seconds) Removing charger and leaving it for a while outside and replugging it back in Clicking on rhe BIOS reset button Unplugging battery and BIOS battery to run the laptop off of AC power. No avail it seems Have I fried the motherboard? Maybe the replacement CPU fan is causing a 'warning' in boot up (But i would expect at least the led indicator next to the pwoer button to turn on) Is the power button dead? Didnt do any changes to the RAM slots, are those the issue? Not sure about the battery either. I am based off of canada too and I got this laptop as a gift. I am not sure if I have warranty (I got this 2 years ago). Thabk you for reading through, and I hope to hear from you soon! Much love
