Thanks!
Not disconnecting the battery was a very serious mistake. Imagine what could have happened if you had turned the computer on by accident.
Since you did a clean install of windows on this laptop, how did you get the drivers from msi? That would have otherwise been installed if you had kept the ssd it came with. Or can you show a tutorial on how to do that? Im thinking about starting fresh with 2 nvme’s and a clean install of windows
which ribbon is the audio one i did a tear down to repaste and to upgrade my storage and i think i fucked up the audioi cuz its static
Always unplug the laptop power cable when working laptop motherboard😑
Whenever taking apart an electronic device ALWAYS REMOVE BATTERY FIRST!!! (So you don’t short anything)

Lol you are right. Good call.
i have a msi gs65 stealth 9se 30 pin LCD and i bought a 40 screen by mistake. What happens if you connect my 30-pin laptop to a 40-pin?
I know this is an old video, but if you see my comment here, please answer.. I removed my motherboard to re-do the thermal paste, and when I assambled it back together, made the mistake of rooting the wifi's antenna cables undeneath the motherboard instead of pulling them through, I know there is a heatpipe that is close-by, but it isn't from the CPU or GPU so it shouidn't be that hot.. is it ok to do leave it like that or should I disassambly the entire thing and root it correctly? .. Im not that good with these things so it's a real pain to going through it again.. thanks in advance, and sorry for my english.
I have a GS65 Notebook/Laptop. It was very expensive so I keep it at home so it doesn't get stolen. I access it remotely when I want to run my algorithms. I cannot keep it switched on all the time so I would like to setup the notebook to "wake up" and turn itself on at a certain time every day. I looked in the BIOS but there are no setting for "wake up alarm". Can anyone help with setting the laptop to wake up automatically every day at a certain time?
Great video !

Did you take out the ssd that came with your laptop?
Do you know how to fix an MSI Gs63vr Stealth Pro? The overactive heat senor crashed the laptop computer and automatically turns it off. Now it will not start up unless the laptop is put on the table a certain way. The red lights on the keyboard and above the keyboard turn on for a few seconds and then turn off. The power button seems to be working. But you kind of have to push it kind of hard. Could it be the battery in the laptop?
I shorted a tiny little capacitor near the fan cable with my screw driver tip when I was putting the screw back on and I'm scared to turn the laptop on and run into problems, any idea if a very small capacitor will stop the laptop from turning on?

I turned on the laptop and it works, but the display is dead. I have it hooked up to my tv via hdmi and it's outputting video just fine. I guess I gotta shell out almost $400 for a new gs65 stealth motherboard 😐
the music is so loud
Good job man ❤️

@@beefmaster_james Do your best. You're a professional at this job, and there's not much like you, and I'm going to give you all the support./From Baghdad 🇮🇶
I tried it myself and it does not turn on... which component do you think is not working when a teardown like this is performed?

Good question. A few things to try: 1) There are two connections to the battery. Check those first. 2) If you are getting power (it lights up), make sure the top tab is connected, seen at 6:44. 3) You may need to reconnect the thick black wire on the right that powers the screen. 4) If any of those don't work and you installed a new m.2 SSD, check compatibility. Good luck. Please share if you find the cause.
