Mountain Car Camping

I hit the road with my #camping gear and headed for the #mountains to meet up with @forestyforest and @AdventureTimeLoui
We didn't do any crazy hikes together, because I know better than to try and keep up with him, but we did have a good meal and some great conversation by the fire. I got to try out my new flat-top grill, and of course, breathe in that fresh mountain air.

Steve, just so you know, in the hiking community you are considered a “trail angel” and the gifts of food and warmth are called “trail magic”. Those of us addicted to hiking will eat cold food at times and go to bed half frozen because we are too tired for heating things up! So God bless you for the kindness. You are a good man.

Louie is a newer addition (I’ve seen just a few of her videos since I first saw her on Foresty’s channel, and she’s a great gal - she’s been a good hiking/climbing friend to Foresty). I really liked the collaboration between Steve, Foresty, and Loui. It doesn't matter if Steve's "just car camping," it's nice to see him chatting with people around a campfire. It'd be fun to see a bunch of collaborations with various US youtube campers. If he comes to Michigan, there's a ton of great places to camp--stealth or otherwise.

@@youssef16844 They're both very shy people. Quiet and reserved, not really naturally comfortable in front of a camera or groups of people. They have to work VERY hard at coming across as energetic and outgoing in their videos but that's not how they are naturally. The word standoffish makes it sound like they're unfriendly or something, which they are most definitely not. And I did not find them to be awkward at all. I think they did a great job.

Stealth camping videos made me find your channel, but they're not what keeps me coming back and you never have to stress yourself out looking for a stealth spot - we're perfectly happy watching you camp in any place. You inspire me when Im struggling - I know the last year or two have been extremely tough on you, but you've shown us all what the healthy grieving process looks like, and your renewed vigor that you have for taking on life is... well, inspiring :) Love you Steve!
