Tim Foust has said that Adam Rupp has the broadest range in the group. Adam has been working on his vocals the past few years and his new solo section includes a loop station with Adam harmonizing with himself. Those high notes at the beginning and end are not Rob or Austin, it's Adam Rupp.

I have been saying for a few years now that I think Adam has the widest range due to all effects and vocalizations he does.....he can hit a low throat/lip roll, or those high whistle tones....he might not be able to out right SING cleanly in those registers, but he can hit them.

all that means is that he records all his sounds at his leisure, and at the shows is nothing more than a dj. tbh everyone of them have recorded all their songs on the loop station. it would surprise me if they are all simply lip syncing it. i mean they did a whole performance without Chance simply so they wouldn't have to cancel a show. Not to mention we know that Chnce no longer does his diggerie doo vocals live for 'Man of Constant Sorrow'. And all the songs they sing, they have sung for years so timing wouldn't be an issue. so why spend money on a show that's recorded when you can just buy the cd for less? So really by definition they aren't even an a capella group anymore.

Home free just released "Brother". It's amazing. Rob and Chance are stellar. Adam.. well Adam is Adam and this video is so him.

Adam Rupp is doing those very high notes in the beginning. He sings a lot of high tones in this one. This is the cover of a Doobie Brothers song from 1972. Home Free slays it. Thank you Mason for taking care of Mortius when he gets overwhelmed. We do love him.

HomeFree is so good it is easy to forget all of that wonderful music is coming from 5 A cappella voices. I am thrilled that Adam Rupp cut himself loose on this one. When you take a moment to begin to understand his contribution, then isolate Tim's rock solid bass foundation, pick out the background harmonies from Rob and Chance, all supporting Austin's lead, then you really grasp the impact of Adam's high notes and other vocal percussion wizardry. These guys are changing music and how music can be performed.

Adam has been working on his vocals. He has started featuring in more than just the beatboxing recently and we couldn't be happier.

I grew up on classic rock & am a big fan of the Doobie Brothers & had their albums. "Listen To The Music" was a big hit for them back in 1972. Love that Home Free is keeping this great music alive & introducing it to the younger generation. The guys did a really nice job of this song. Austin was great for the lead & loved the background harmonies of Rob, Chance & Tim. Adam killed it on the vocal percussion again. He always comes up with some new & interesting sounds. Adam is doing the high notes as you can see in the slowed down section.

This is simply excellent again!! 👏💞 I have been a fan of the Doobie Brothers for a long time. This song is just timeless. It still swings. Really something for Home Free. So great sung, so great harmonies, bone-feeling bass, But for me it's Adam who makes it truly phenomenal. He nailed it!!! 🥰 The vocal percussion is just inhumane. So unbelievably good. For me the very best beatboxer/vocal percussionist/mouth artist there is. And I haven't even mentioned his appearance yet. He's so handsome. It's amazing that the Doobie Brothers used guitars, double drums, keyboards, vocals and other instruments to create this iconic song and 50 yrs later HF made it a classic again using just Adam and their own vocal talents. Love all the new sounds Adam added including the high note at the beginning and during the break down. He looked like he really enjoyed doing this video and I'm glad the bandanas are back.

You clearly love your green screen but I really appreciate the no-greenscreen look! Gives you a proper shadow & makes your head look way better when the program doesn't constantly try to find the border between your hair/the headphones & the green screen. I would set up a little corner for videos with just regular decor stuff in the background, like a shelf with lil music knickknacks or smth? Something that means something to you/the channel

gave You a thumbs up bc i enjoy your reactions. But the video itself is NOT one of my faves. yes, they did everything right, and it is spot on. Adam was spectacular as always in his beat boxing and vocals were a good ever. But i hae never been a fan of the Doobie Brothers. Which is really unusual for mebc if it came out in the 70's i almost always love it. But when it came to the Doobie rothrs if they came out with it, i almost always hated it. personal preference i guess.
