Austin's voice rang out so strong, he could knock drones out of the sky, Rob and Chance's harmonies were as rich and tasty as a Thanksgiving dinner, Tim's beautiful bass was inspired, and Adam's beat boxing/vocal percussion was completely crazy great. He's always bringing new and creative elements to his repertoire. They took an already great song, put their own special polish on it and turned it into a precious jewel. Home Free crushes yet another cover. Loved your reaciton.

Those high notes in the beginning were actually mad by Austin. I asked Adan about it when doing a VIP session.

Assuming what you said is true IT'S ABOUT TIME. I don't understand why groups make it so hard on reactors to react to their music. I have discovered more music thru watching reactions than any other means. Home Free you guys are awesome! You are truly "the peoples music"

@@ellens1832 It’s not necessarily the group. It’s the record label especially if it’s Sony (PTX and Home Free when they were with Columbia). The record label usually owns the recording. Home Free now has their own label.

On the same day this video came out, just a few minutes later in fact, Austin Brown's new solo video dropped. With the beauty of Canada in the background, his rendition of Georgia on My Mind is absolutely mesmerizing, his voice and the scenery. And just 2 weeks later Home Free released the video for Brother. Breathtaking vocals, laugh until you're breathless action. With a special appearance by Austin's lovely lady Amberly. I highly recommend both of them. Home Free just gets better and better.

To top off his vocal percussion, it was Adam’s voice singing all those high notes at the beginning and toward the end of the song. He has a tremendous vocal range!

Doobie Brothers + Home Free = an experience that cannot be described. Tim 'playing the bass guitar'.... Adam 'paying the drums and several other percussion instruments I cannot identify'. Are you kidding me? What in the actual hell did I just listen to?

Love the high pitch notes at the beginning of the song that the Adam Rupp does before he drops the drums. An upgrade to the Doobie Brothers though I will always love the original (11 years old then and I remember it well).

I grew up on classic rock & am a big fan of the Doobie Brothers & had their albums. "Listen To The Music" was a big hit for them back in 1972. Love that Home Free is keeping this great music alive & introducing it to the younger generation. The guys did a really nice job of this song. Austin was great for the lead & loved the background harmonies of Rob, Chance & Tim's bass. Adam killed it on the vocal percussion again. He always comes up with some new & interesting sounds. Adam is doing the high notes as you can see in the slowed down section.

Adam also does a great job on their version of “Try Everything” from Zootopia. He lays down about 5 different unique rhythms. 🔥

Check out Brother next. You will love that one.

What a great reaction! This is simply excellent again!! I have been a fan of the Doobie Brothers for a long time. This song is just timeless. It still swings. Really something for Home Free. So great sung, so great harmonies, bone-feeling bass, But for me it's Adam who makes it truly phenomenal. He nailed it. The vocal percussion is just inhumane. So unbelievably good. For me the very best beatboxer/vocal percussionist/mouth artist there is. And I haven't even mentioned his appearance yet. He's incredible!!

Agree! Many other beatboxers sound like humans just imitating sounds. When you listen to Adam, you think it is an instrument & then you realize it is a human voice.

I have not heard of Home Free new release songs being copyrighted in the last 3 years or so. That was the reason they started their own label, so that reactors could freely react to their music.
