Can i just say a massive thank you Leanne, after failing my MOD 2 3 weeks ago i have watched pretty much all of your videos and gained so much information and knowledge that i finally passed my full license today. I'm so glad i stumbled across one of your videos and subscribed and watched the rest. If anyone else is reading this i am just some random bloke from Kent that sought knowledge to help me pass and all these videos will (with no doubt) help you to achieve your goal whatever test you are taking. Once again a MASSIVE thank you 🙂

Mines Tuesday. I have an instructor that seems to have a slack attitude towards life savers. I'll be doing as these tutorials teach. These are brilliant but one suggestion us that the notes are hard to read because of the colours used.

@@BlazeYouQuick I certainly did, three minors, two for hesitancy and one for incorrect speed but blagged it. I also almost left the car park with my lid undone. I cried for about 5 minutes after he told me I passed.

Just wanted to thanks for all your mod 2 common mistake videos! I would of passed mine yesterday but sadly I live in Wales and got a major for speeding. Came off a large roundabout into a huge non residential street with no speed signs. Could see numerous side street entrances with 20 marked so assumed I was on a 30. But sadly wasn't the case. Ended up failing for doing 28mph. I actually feel OK with that being the reason though, it means my riding was good enough but just gotta always go 20 from now on unless a clear sign tells me otherwise 😅

In Notts, unfortunately when we approach junctions or islands, we also need to check the actual road for potholes.

Hi Leanna, I'm not entirely sure I get this. What's wrong with stopping to look? I'd have thought that riding like you are in this video is ideal - smooth and with the options to both stop and go - but not necessary? What is unsafe about planning to stop at junctions where you have any doubt? I'd ride like this on roads I know, but be more cautious especially in urban areas where there might be layered hazards eg crossings around junctions or sequential roundabouts.

I'm sure Leanna won't mind me jumping in here. Years before helmet cams, I was out with two trainees. Between them and me was a car. The first trainee stopped at a roundabout when he could have gone, trainee two also then stopped and the car ploughed through both of them. This is the danger of not learning to take earlier information to make an earlier decision. Following vehicles won't necessarily see you and see it's clear to go. I hope this helps explain.
