Great advice! Proud to be a new subscriber. I’m a committed Christian but I’ve always admired much about the LDS church and it’s focus on family values. If I could go back and give my younger self some advice I would say “At the times you are questioning things of the heart the most, don’t forget to let God take the wheel. Humans are far too much into the assumption that we control our destiny.”

I LOVE your videos! Could you possibly do a waiting for missionary video? It is hard because you never know how you will change and your missionary will change throughout these 2 years. And I always worry about someone getting hurt in the end after all of this time. It is hard to think about if they will not like you the same when they come home or vice versa. But I like to keep faith and pray that whatever happens is what is meant to happen, regardless of how he or I thinks it will turnout. But, yeah thank y'all for your great advice!!

Great video. I will say though, don’t assume kids in Utah automatically follow the standards, or anywhere else where there is a large population of Latter Day Saint members. If anything you need to be more on guard about their standards because it is easy to slip into a mindset that, oh our standards are the same so I don’t have to worry and I can relax with them...and then you find out they are one person at church and an whole other person alone in a car parked on a dark street... Keep the great videos coming!!

I think most people who live in Utah and are breathing and awake are pretty aware of the reality that the spectrum of how people live the gospel standards varies significantly. Not everybody is the same and it doesn’t matter what culture you are integrated in…it’s kinda universal ya know?

Can’t believe this video actually exist. So my high school crush is a Mormon and I’m a Christian and I always wonder how or what should I do to have a good relationship with her. Let’s say I’m not devoted as her but I’ve been liking her for almost 3 years now, I wanna have a relationship with her but I don’t want my beliefs to interfere with hers so here I am 38 seconds on the video hoping this video will give me guidance

@@NezzyTTV ouff this was a long time ago so I ended up catching really strong feelings for her, I even had dreams with her and it was nice then I found out she was leading me on and while I was in love she was talking to someone else... with the love of God I was able to just heal from that and realized my value and self love and I forgive her and we sorta friends. She told me that guy was a douche so I guess karma got her idk but the thing is barely talk to her and is just a learning experience of valuing myself and to see if someone is not putting the same energy leaving that alone because they were not 100% interested in the first place

I would say to the question asked in the video of when do u marry/how to know if its the right person, especially with LDS dating, is to pray about it, fast if need be. I appreciate the video, while im not to the point of trying to find a soulmate (about to turn 17 and havent dated yet) im grateful for the advice. Would you have any advice/ tips on asking girls out/first date and starting out?

I would also agree to an extent on the soulmate thing, it has been revealed that we were organized as familes in the pre-existence with our sweetheart and children, HOWEVER it can still work with another, as based on choices, sometimes the people we WERE ment to be with is not the kind of person that is right to marry.

When asking women out, ( once you've gotten 'level' with her, 'suggesting' tends to sound more authentic than 'asking'... Or to put it another way. Say you had a female friend but you were Not super interested in. Would you be more inclined to give it a chance if she said... 'Do you want to go out with me sometime' or if she said 'Hey! Big get together at the Cafe Friday, let's meet up over there...'?

I’m sure that is the case for some, but personally I think that’s a really dumb reason to rush into marriage haha Our church leaders encourage us to take our time dating many different people to learn what traits are important to us and what personalities we get along best with, not just rush into it with the first person who will marry us 😬😂
