I really like Orville because they were able to capture the best things I liked about Star Trek and still retain the optimism and hope that is lost in contemporary Star Trek

Optimism: The one element that made the original idea special.

This is the episode where the show really hit it's stride and is still my favorite episode. GOOD sci-fi. GOOD humor. It hits right on every beat.

"For the world is hollow and I have touched the sky."

This episode had a great moment that I'm glad they didn't spoil in this video. Top notch stuff, and I can't wait for season 2

This and the 6th episode were the best of the season (in my opinion). If you or someone you know hasn't seen this show yet, I'd recommend checking it out.

This series is so good. Discovery could learn a lot

I didn't have a clue about what Commander Grayson was going on about when she was talking about monkeys in coffee shops. As it happens, I have never seen an episode of 'Friends', not even so much as a clip of the show (I avoid it like my life depended on it).

I wish FOX would air reruns on FXX or something - it sucks that there's just no Orville until the very end of December :/ I check out Fox so rarely, and "Primetime" is way too early. Wish you didn't have to record shows all the time just because TV schedules are designed for old people and/or children. They really should air episodes on FXX at like 11, midnight, or something, it'd be so much easier to catch just, all the time - shore up those ratings! Kinda like how BBC America makes it easy to catch episodes of Star Trek because they air TNG all the time :P
