From Emmy Award-winning executive producer and creator Seth MacFarlane (FAMILY GUY, “Ted,” “Cosmos: A SpaceTime Odyssey”), THE ORVILLE is a live-action, one-hour space adventure series set 400 years in the future that follows The Orville, a mid-level exploratory spaceship. Its crew, both human and alien, face the wonders and dangers of outer space, while also dealing with the familiar, often humorous problems of everyday life. The ensemble series stars MacFarlane as the ship’s Commanding Officer, Ed Mercer, and Adrianne Palicki (“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” “Friday Night Lights”) as his ex-wife, Kelly Grayson, who’s assigned as his First Officer. Additional cast members include Penny Johnson Jerald as Dr. Claire Finn (“24,” “The Larry Sanders Show”), Scott Grimes as Gordon Malloy (“ER,” “Justified”), Peter Macon as Bortus (“Shameless,” “Bosch”), Halston Sage as Alara Kitan (“Neighbors,” “Goosebumps”), J. Lee as John LaMarr (FAMILY GUY, “The Cleveland Show”), Mark Jackson as Isaac (“That Royal Today”) and Chad L. Coleman as Klyden (“The Walking Dead,” “The Wire”). The Orville has been renewed for a second season.

This show is so good, like classic Trek but very unique in its own right and *clearly* has a lot of effort out into it, I really hope it lasts unlike other great sci-fi shows on Fox that were cancelled before their time
As a traditional Star Trek fan. I can’t wait for season 2 of the Orville to start. I’m a fan of the Orville too and Star Gate SG1.

I am glad to see, that someone gets it, you can be a fan of Star Trek, Star Wars, Orville, SG1 , you do not have to pick just one. they are different science fiction series/movies. for some reason, a few individuals got it in their mind, that they are only allowed to like one thing at a time.

I loved TNG but I really cannot get behind Seth as a captain. He's got no leadership presence and just kinda sucks.
That was like watching an entire episode in 2 min. Hope the full episode is as good.
Space....The Final Frontier. These are the voyages of the Starship Orville. Its continuing mission: To continue the original 'Star Trek' adventures inspired by Gene Roddenberry's visions. To seek first contact with new civilizations while having lots of fun. To boldly go where no one has gone before!!

*_You went to Admiral Halsey and asked him to give me command of the_*_ Orville._ 0:56 - Ed sounded like Isaac for a moment.
It's about time and network let a Sci-Fi fan do a show congratulations on a great sci-fi show I watch the first season several times already and can't wait for the second tomorrow night!
One of the best episodes of the season
1:37 this episode was like TRON for me
“If we get out of this I want you to be my new Head Engineer” *protective field wavers, painful wave occurs* “And, you know, if we die a terrible death, I think it’s safe to say you’re fired.”
That 2D space is just mind blowing 🤯
Love this show.
Great show! Can't wait to watch the second season.
I think promoting John to Chief engineer was a paralell to TNG when Geordi was first the Enterprise helmsman and later the Chief engineer.
@cirrustate8674

Pretty close, though John's initial role, in this case, is more akin to Data at the Ops station, rather than the helm.
Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! It's almost here!!!
2:30 Also this is now your interview for chief engineer. If we all die, you're not getting promoted.
I do love Star Trek.
Kelly willing it will be a great season 2
Am I the only one who just likes the sound of that hobalot ship entering and exiting the anomaly?
After the events of "Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow," I firmly believe that Kelly realized that, if Ed was not the captiain of the Orville, then the Kaylon would've successfully invaded and destroyed Earth.
Fantastic show! cant wait for season 3!!
This was my favourite episode of the entire first season!
Wow, this is so good 👍🏼
2:41 how many boxes of tissues did ed and john use in this scene?
My favorite episode
This show is so cool.
I can't wait to see season 3 episodes next year.
Everyone has got it backwards.. THIS ismwhat ST TOS was wanting to be.
Comedy just grows on you
Go orville
Think of it. A star ship named after Redenbacher--who knew the popcorn king would be so popular in the future?
@cirrustate8674
3 жыл бұрын
While that is amusing to think about, realistically, it's likely named after Orville Wright. Probably has a sister ship out there called the Wilbur.
Unbelievable. This is what TNG should have been. They put a new twist on Trek. The writing is so good. What a find.
Good funny tv show
*At 0:51 Am I the only one who noticed a Kermit the Frog toy sitting on Ed's desk?*
There's a problem with Dr's protein theory, they suggest that 3d life dies because proteins get squeezed flat and when transformed back to 3d shape they're not the same shape as before and cells die. Then how are the horbolots themselves and the ship the same shape as before, does the 2d to 3d transition selectively choose which objects to 'reinflate' correctly?
Less than 24 hours to go in my time zone!

Dear Fox, Why does your website deliberately slow down free streaming of shows like The Orville but then the commercials on your site run fast and smooth? Speed up your streaming to how it used to be or me and other defenders of net neutrality and internet freedom will boycott your services and your apps.
I'm trying to find where I can watch Orville. We don't have fox in England. I looked for the fox now app on my iPhone and only get ultimate guide for fox now. Has anyone got a link where I can watch the Orville? Or do I need to fork out £15-£20 per series to see it in iTunes?
