When I was 14, my best friend Cassie and I discovered AC/DC. My little sister was singing along, "Dirty Deeds, Thunder Chief. Dirty deeds and the Thunder Chief." I asked her who Thunderchief was. She thought the song was about an Indian chief. I told her the lyrics were Dirty deeds, done dirt cheap. Mind blown. She was slightly hard of hearing, so she was always misunderstanding lyrics, but that didn't stop her from singing.

🫡 🇺🇲 I hope you gentlemen have many more lovely evenings together. It's nice to be able to experience these things together with strangers across the world. I am just old enough to know what it was like before the internet was commonly used around where I live. I was a teen when I really started using it. Even now, I still forget that if I don't know something, I can just... look it up, right then. 😅It's hard to explain to my kid what that's like. I imagine the world has changed for y'all in several ways like that, too, durring your lives. I love that the internet can break down barriers between the generations (as long g as we don't let those with vested interests in dividing us keep us separated.) You two have a wonderful day. ❤️

You gotta laugh. I feel you though, life is f'd beyond belief right now, at least in my own sphere of existence. Gotta one way ticket on a fast rocket ship to divorce after 20 years together. I've tried marriage counseling, intensive marriage counseling. I've done my own therapy as well just in case I was the problem. But sometimes there's nothing that can be done. I'm not ready to ingest lead at high velocity or anything, but I've been close. I realized that not only do I have great things to live for, kids to raise and watch build their own families, but life is bound to be so much better once I'm out of the energetic life suckling hole I've been in for the last few years. One of the big big things that's gotten me thru is comedy. Drives my wife nuts that I can manage to laugh when life is so depressing. She's not looking to better herself or anything, seems to be content in the bottom of the gutter where she's at, I think it bugs her that I didn't allow her to drag me in there with her. I can only help so much, but you can't help someone who doesn't want to be helped. I can name some great comedians for you if you'd like extra laugh fuel. They're not Dry Bar level though, although one of them somehow managed to do a Dry Bar special, he's a good good friend of mine. Jose Sarduy. Another friend up here in Seattle also did a dry bar a few years ago, Andrew Rivers. Both hilarious guys. They have helped me get thru as well as they always make me laugh and have helped teach me how to laugh at myself. Good luck buddy, you'll get thru it. Whatever it is 🤘😎🤘

My cousins and I were singing along to the radio as we rode in the car (in the 90's). Fiona Apple's "Criminal" came on, and when it got to the chorus, my younger cousin sang loud and proud, "Cuz I'm feeling like a *CRIM IN THE HOLE."* We stopped her and asked her what she sang, she repeated it, told her the _correct_ lyrics, and asked her what a "crim" was. She said she figured it was just a word she didn't know yet. We have _never_ let her live that down. 😂🤣😂🤣

My health insurance company gave me a wrist monitor to encourage physical activity. I am disabled so it’s not like I was going to be training for marathons. I did do as much walking as I could possibly do and would spend an hour holding onto the shopping cart at large stores that are air conditioned and the floor is level. My monitor would tell me that I hadn’t taken enough steps because obviously my arm was swinging down at my side. I got perks if I met my goal so when I got into bed I would take of the monitor, hold it in my hand and wave it for the required 15 minutes to get the daily points. My husband was always laughing at me but I felt like I did more than required and felt entitled to my points. I hadn’t changed my activity level but my arms got more of a workout. 😏

It takes strength, courage, and determination (and soooo many other things) to beat cancer. Prayers for your ongoing health!! Thank you for your service in the Air Force!! My Dad and all his brothers also served. They made AF history. The Tison Brothers. They were the first in the history of the Air Force to have had ALL the sons in the family (there was 5 of them) serve in the same unit at the same time. I’ll find you on fb or Instagram and send you the pics of the big Air Force article written about them with 2 pics of all of them on base together in it!

I'm gunna lose it and pass out if he does "can you paint me a burning ham" (can you paint me a Birmingham, old country song) I always wondered why someone would want a painting of a burnt ham. I've actually dealt with this issue most of my life, not just in songs but in life. Employers thought i was either stupid or hard of hearing because I'd ask them to repeat things cuz what they said wasn't always what my brain computed. There's a Latin/smart person word to describe my situation. But i don't think i can repeat that on dry bar

I'm 50 with only one sibling. I used to upset my 47 year old sister back in 1986 when she was 10 years old by singing one of her favorite songs by the ever so talented Sir Elton John ,but with a little Taxi and Who's The Boss infusion like, "Hold me closer Tony Danza! Count the head lice on the highway! Baby Donna, she's so splendid! Ya had a business day today!" Hahahaha! She'd let me know pronto that I was singing it all wrong. Then I'd go back into my room and my 13 year old self would stare at the Teeny Bopper magazine page that I carefully removed from the magazine and Scotch taped to the wall of 13 year old Alyssa Milano and pray that one day she'd be my boss. 🥰 🤣

Either way it’s a dumb way to view things and I dare you to tell a musician to “shut up and sing.” Btw, Elton did it for the love of two people, not necessarily because it was Rush. In fact there’s no doubt in my mind that he hated Rush. Trust me, 99% of us are glad he’s dead/gettinf eaten by the worms. They guy wrote on a music forum about misheard lyrics that the first time he heard RHCP's Aeroplane he thought the chorus of the song was "It's my yellow thing.." instead of "It's my aeroplane.." The reasoning for that was he believe the whole band got jaundice on their weeners. 😂

I always need to look them up again. oh the 99% song with the one piece lol. Literally yes. Keith Washington - Kissing You. Then I get to "what's better than" I could never make it out just by listening. Just had to look at the lyrics 3 times. Pretty anything MJ. Tried to remember creedance clearwater revival - have you ever seen the rain, Magic - let your hair down, the fray - look after you. Nope. I think my memory is just poor.
