WHAT IS BRAIN EDUCATION TV?
Brain Education TV provides mental health and mental wellness videos to help young adults with loneliness, depression, and anxiety. The foundation of our content comes from Brain Education, an academic study from South Korea that stems from over 40 years of research and application and has been practiced by millions around the world.
WHY WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH…
We suffered from high-functioning loneliness and depression our whole lives. We lived different lives in different states, but when we met, we realized we were struggling with common issues that reflected an important problem in our young adult generation. We didn’t know who we were, what we were passionate about, what we should live for, and what direction our lives were “supposed” to go. We spent a lot of time wandering in search of that magical ‘answer’ that will solve all problems (like I’m sure most of you are doing right now), and yet the further we searched outside, the more pronounced the emptiness inside of us felt.
Millions of people suffer silently from mental health related issues. Yet our society still places taboos around openly talking about relevant mental health topics like loneliness, depression, and anxiety. As a result, our young adults don’t know how to talk about it constructively, where to turn to, or what resources they have to combat this real-life threat to their wellbeing.
We credit Brain Education for giving us the courage to overcome our own mental health struggles and create the lives we want...and now we hope you can too through the videos we share on this channel.

    Wow this was something I never new I needed. I didn’t even know where exactly the core was before this video. When I started tapping I started laughing and smiling. I then came back to a core memory of mine when I was told “your not interesting the look at” by one of my coaches in cheer. I had struggled a lot with balancing my body and keeping a tight core. I was going through so much at that time in my childhood I just gave up. BUT THIS ! This is where I could finally say in the present. I am good enough. I am interesting to look at. I am strong. I do have a good connection with my body. So thank you.❤

    I found my mind wandered now and then, but it was easy to bring my attention back to the red dot. During the time of tapping, energy was very high throughout my lower body. Once I stopped the tapping, the energy immediately rushed through my upper body and arms till it reached my head. Thanks for this additional tool to help me through my days!

    ❤ yes, I must say that that was a work out for my brain and my focus but it definitely was a work out for my arms. Good gracious! My shoulders were tight like that was a serious arm workout. Lol. Also, though I do have digestive things going on as well, I definitely did a lot of burping lol so I guess I will be implementing this for that purpose also but exercise will also do the trick Anyway, concerning the brain and focus yeah, I definitely struggle with this.. at one point when you kept saying read that I literally saw the word read that in the air I do have clairvoyance and other Clayre gifts but anyway, I kept seeing the word read that in the air and I ended up focusing on that area lol I had to go back to the red dot within my core definitely did see the red dot but it was hard to focus so I will be practicing this and other mind-body exercises, and also mindfulness and getting into the body more and out of the mind thank you so much I like the fact that you said that this exercise will show the condition of your mind being able to focus. Thank you.❤

    Was relatively easy to focus on the red dot, and eventually I started laughing lol. Also I noticed that initially I was visualising the red dot a little off to the left side, and that's significant because I notice my body is off balance towards the left - I am always leaning to the left and using that side more. I brought back my awareness of the red dot to the centre and feel more balanced

    Hello! I have cfs and looking for such practices in your videos. It helped me so much!!! Thank you! Nevertheless I have a question. How should I imagine this red dot? Should I imagine a picture of my body/ human body or a contour of that and imagine the red dot or should I just imagine the red dot and try to "feel" it or place it below my belly button? Thanks alot!

    Hey Linda! I've been watching your videos. What would you say are the set of videos I should follow daily for "anxiety/fear" and its manifestations in the gut. My gut has chronically tightened, especially the stomach ... what would be the best videos to follow to calm the mind/gut and bring body back in sync?

    I wish you would have said in the beginning that this was all just hitting your gut. You say “tapping” but I can hear how hard you’re hitting. I have a lot of scar tissue in my abdomen from surgeries so while I tried this, I became angry when I realized this was the entire video…not really a “routine” imo and I wouldn’t have started it if I knew that for 9 minutes I would be hitting my abdomen. Please try to have more disclaimers at the front so people know what to expect.

  • @BrainEducationTV

    @BrainEducationTV

    Жыл бұрын

    Hey Ciara, thanks for the comment. The tapping is to create stimulation in your body, because when your body is stimulated then your mind will naturally focus on the body. Therefore, by causing stimulation to the lower abdomen, your mind naturally goes to the lower abdomen which will help create a mind-body connection. If you have a lot of scar tissue, try tapping even very very gently- tapping won't harm any scar tissue as far as I know.. but if you're cautious then definitely consult a doctor to make sure!
