I think the smaller we are the feistier we are... If I were in her shoes my mouth would have landed me dead in her situation... This woman is amazing and the fact she did show Castro that she's not terrified of him any longer that he has no control over here... What beautiful soul that has gone through so much tragedy in her life and yet persevered in a strong way.

Even though my life is in mess. But I really feel bad of Michelle. Keep your head high Michelle❤❤❤

Maybe Gina needed to move on with her life and leave that pain behind her. Maybe it was too triggering every time she spoke to Michelle and brought her back to that house. Whatever Gina needs to do to survive after this is okay. Michelle has gone on numerous talk shows continues to talk about it, that's what she needs to do, but Gina obviously has a different path. They were there for each other through a season of life. They'll always be important to each other. That doesn't mean they have to keep talking throughout their lives about the worst trauma they endured.

She's a wonderful human

Like how Michelle Knight confronted Castro and said your Hell is beginning. And yes there's a place in Hell for guys like Castro. A very special place.

The last part was so unnecessary, shut up. They all had it bad stop invalidating the other women’s experiences. Almost everything Michelle says is a lie. According to the official report they each got 1 meal a day and 1-2 showers a week. Michelle lied about having five unsafe abortions even a nurse debunked her claim, you cant have five unsafe abortions without being severely disabled. And she claimed she held her three month aborted fetus as if it were a fully formed fetus when at three months a fetus is the size of a peanut. And both girls claimed they never saw her pregnant even Gina who was right next to her the whole ten years and who Michelle claimed knew she was pregnant. From all the 3 girls, Gina coped with it the worst, not Michelle she started to harm herself. After years of the rescue, she still felt uncomfortable to talk about the details that guy did to her in interviews.

⁠ ⁠ She knew the type of person her mother was, she knew there was drugs coming in and out of there from what she has stated in the past she grew up really fucked-up why would you ever leave your child in the care of your mother knowing she's a piece of shit? Actually think about what the fuck you're saying here. It's Michelle's own fault her kid got taken away and it's her fault her child was put in danger she endangered her child when she left him with someone like her mother. And she didn't take a ride from Social Services to her appointment and only to depend on a family that she knew was not dependable, she really made it a point to get to the appointment on time get the fuck out of here with that nonsense. I don't believe she was going to get her son she was probably selling her snatch and Castro just thought fuck this I’m gonna take her. What a bad mom hope she she never sees him again.

i worry a lot about her. i saw a video of her that i think? was recent and she was not with her husband? i pray this man did not get with her cuz she got almost 1 million dollars. 400,000+ from dr phil and then the 3 ladies split 1.4 million, she just simply cannot be hurt by anyone she trusts again...

How do you hide someone for ten years...I mean they must have came out for air to walk around or something...there's no way they just live in a dungeon for ten years...

They lived in that dark house chained up every day. No fresh air. No sunlight. Nothing but abuse. I'm bedbound disabled from a pain condition for 18 yrs, live in a dark room. Never go outside. Still nothing like what they went through. But you wonder if it's possible to survive that way? Yes it is. "When I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light."

Michelle had given up on escaping, don’t believe the lies she tells you in Amanda and Gina’s book which is more truthful, she would say things like “we are going to die in here”.

So sad.

Her impact statement.. was def different but she deserved 2 say what she wanted.. sad that someone didn't help her with her statement. Hearing the grammar errors made me think of how she was always scared to speak in class seems somebody would have helped her to boost her confidence, I know I would have.

She was made fun of, ridiculed for being dumb her entire life, she had limited education etc. So anybody that loved or cared for her would have wanted her to feel proud of her statement besides the obvious triumphant. If you took that comment offensive maybe you need a reality check.
