It’s so sad that Amanda’s mom passed before she got out of that evil man’s grip. May her mom rest peacefully knowing her daughter is now happy and safe.

@@vs6.Last reported a few years ago, she lives a quiet life with her parents. She has said that a lot of attention and large crowds have given her crippling anxiety so, she prefers her life kept private for the most part. She and the other survivors won a sizable lawsuit against the city of Cleveland for mishandling their kidnappings/disappearances. She also receives residuals from the book she and Amanda co-wrote about their experiences in captivity. She volunteers at her local police department and has shown interest in becoming a 911 operator/dispatcher. Additionally, she volunteers at an animal shelter near her home in Ohio. She has also been a voluntary crisis counselor. She’s pretty amazing IMO.

what i dont understand is why the other two stayed in touch and singled michelle out afterwards , i think its because they were likely popular girls in school , and michelle was not in their cliche / if you know what i mean , michelle is different , and it shows , i think michelle has suffered more abuse in that house more than all of them put together , the emotional abuse to after leaving the house , she deserved the extra attention from the media , as she had nobody and suffered a lot worse than the other two , emotionally .

At the time my Aunt was a volunteer Kidnap and Rape Therapist who dealt with tons of victims traumatized for what they went through. She got me to volunteer for her program by Walking a Mile in High Heels with Hundreds of Volunteers all Men wearing High Heels in town. That was to spread the word that every second this is happening to someone and its up to us to get these criminals off the streets! A week later the Girls escaped and I feel like my Walk gave them the strength to get out of that House!
