The current Ronald goes around to restaurants and visits with people. I almost shit my pants when he came and I just hid in the walk-in freezer with like 3 other employees until he left

I don't think they ever tried to reboot Ronald McDonald, but I do know that they tried to replace him. It didn't last long. Not because people were complaining that their nostalgic icon was gone, but because it was just so god damn creepy.
