The whole Hasbro tangent is so funny to me bc my mom used to be a spokesperson for the games division and once she had to talk to the press bc they got backlash for making a pink ouija board (now they’re encouraging ~young girls~ to participate in ~occult activities~ as if young girls hadn’t been playing with them already) - she was basically like “…you guys know it’s a game, right?”

Fun fact: my nickname had been zozo since I was a baby since it's just a short of my name and my Catholic friend mentioned it to her mother and she was horrified

Ouija boards were made popular as a Hasbro party game. It's ties the occult and spirits was popularised by horror movies.

Hasbro is the only company who are evil enough to make a proper oujia board.

I just bought an ouija board from a Goodwill store. I played it alone. The first name to come to the board was a patient of mine that recently died, I didn't believe it was him, so I googled his obituary (haven't seen patient in 3 yrs. He died 6 months ago! OMG! What do I do?

honest answer to the question: bury that shit with a packet of salt and sage. don't burn a ouija board. bury it away from the place of using (like if u use it in your house don't bury it in your yard). also, you can make a ouija board out of basically anything - you just need the symbols of a basic board and something that can move smoothly across a board and allows you to see what symbol's underneath it. a popular substitute for a planchette is a shot glass :-)
